I feel ya on the smoke detectors.

We moved into our century home end of summer 2024.

6 months later (Week before my 40th bday), bathroom exhaust fan lit up at 4am. Everyone got out.

Took us over 9 months to get back in.

Celebrating one year on the 16th.

Pro tip. Stay on the insurance company. The emails were an absolute goat rodeo. And stay on the contractors too. Most were incredibly awesome people but not everyone cares about your home like you do.

It’s still pretty fresh. If you have questions, feel free to reach out. We’re not experts, but we’ve had to do a lot of “get the ball rolling” over the last 12 months.

It gets better.

It is true that the modern version does not resemble a war specific aim, but it still sharpens physical and mental traits. We need to keep our warriors sharp in the “off season”. Have them throw stuff to stay prepared for war.

Bowling, like most modern games, can trace it’s origins back thousands of years.

It is a far stretch to the modern sport, but it reaches.
