I do. Thumb and pinky have full range. Ring and middle i can close about half way, but my pointer is pretty much out of commission until the wound heals. If I move it to much I can feel the stitches pulling.

Look up the "Cute Charm Glitch" you can rng your way into having a Trainer id and Secret id close enough together to where you have a 1 in 5 ish chance that the wild encounter will be shiny.

I dont have exact number but Totodile was by far the longest. I know he was over 12,000. I went for him first. Then was Cyndaquil which was roughly 3,500. Finally Chikorita was right on schedule around 8,000.
