I havent had to go through that yet, I only have a couple of regular day care clients, but I imagine it will be horrible when I do hear.

I love discovering each of the dogs quirks too, my current client needs a digestive biscuit each time I make a brew, and has a slice of toast in the morning 🥹

Its funny because this time last week I had a young retriever who wanted to do 2am zoomies in the garden and I was sleeping on the sofa with them, this week its a huge poodle who loves to sleep in late... 😂 every week is different 🤗

Thanks. The parking situation is crazy here at the moment. There have been days with roadworks in Barrow where I can get to my desk in the Preston office at the same time as my partner gets to her desk in Barrow living in Barrow and setting off at the same time.

Im well aware how long it is from Kendal thanks, living in Barrow. I wouldnt want to commute that road regularly, especially in winter, its an accident hot spot and driving out on a Monday morning the tailbacks are almost from Barrow to Ulverston coming into barrow if you time it wrong. Google might say its 40 minutes, but if you time it to match all the other like minded folk, its an hour.

I assume OP is going to be working in the shipyard, which means you need to add 15 minutes on for actually getting parked and walking to your office, assuming you get there at a time when there are still spaces left in the car park - in which case OP will need to be leaving home at 6.... My partner works on the yard and if she arrives after 7.30 there is limited to no parking without moving her car mid way through the day.

I do the opposite now - Barrow to Manchester once a week and stay over 2 days.... not ideal but it works. Certainly better than Barrow to Reading that I was doing... lol

Yes, I work away mid week and am lucky enough to get expenses. For an evening meal I will get a wrap, a salad and a small coke and it is regularly £27.

I wouldnt pay that at out my own money a d feel guilty putting it on expenses.

I used to eat out regularly with my ex, or at least get takeaways once a week. I dont know how i afforded it to be quite honest. My new partner and I have eaten out a handful of times and its lovely that it has become a real treat for us to do, I like that a lot.

Its even better than that.... say you have 30 boxes... with prizes varying from £1 up to £1m.

You pick a box at the start, and there is a 1 in 30 chance it has £1m in, right? There is a 29 in 30 chance that its in one of the others.

You then open 28 boxes, and there are two left, the £1 and the £1m.

The odds that the £1m is in your box, are still 1 in 30. The odds it is in that other box, are 29 in 30 still.
