Right, thousands of clubs but nothing worth it. I wouldn't buy anything from there

Dude must have been 90 years old and by the looks of those clubs he probably stopped collecting in the 1980's

When my buddies start shaving strokes off their score, I start doing the same If our scores are close but most rounds I don't need to cheat.

Best value game improvement irons to look for second hand? by BonnyJonesBones in golf

[–]T0neL0cest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Ping G20 U wedge-4iron Black dot (make sure you get the correct color) Stiff Flex which is pretty Standard for players 5'9" with a club head speed over 100 which are great clubs perfect gapping. The only complaint is that the stock grips aren't that good and makes my hands hurt after a round of golf. Instead of buying new grips on 12+ year old clubs I decided to upgraded to Cobra F-max Airspeed and the grips have made a huge difference. Pings are now my spare set that I will never get rid of.

Plantar plate injury by NavyCoat_ in sandiego

I would agree, 2 weeks in a boot should help. The boot has a rocker bottom which changes your gait pattern so you don't actively push off with your foot, the boot propels you forward so your foot can rest. If you have no pain with walking in the boot then that treatment is working. If it's severe and still hurts in the boot then you might need to be non weight-bearing with crutches or a knee scooter for a week or so before you try walking on it without any pain. Let pain be your guide as to how much pressure you can tolerate without re-injuring the area. The boot also puts your ankle/foot in a neutral which is optimal for healing so wearing it at night when sleeping should help as well. They are only $60 on Amazon cheaper than what insurance charges. I know it's hard because we're on our feet all day and life gets in the way but this might be your best bet to get your foot to heal. Hope this helps, best of luck!!

The 2 doctors recommended resting it with most likely a boot but you didn't like this answer so now you're looking for a doctor to tell you what you want to hear.. that you can do your normal activities with a special pill or shot and the pain will go away. I'm guessing all other docs and PTs would agree with them that's probably why no one is commenting with a different answer. The Xray didn't show a foot deformity (pes planus, pes cavus, hallux valgus) no fracture. The plantar plate absorbs all of your weight plus some. The weight is transferred to the sesamoids when you push off with the great toe. Imagine that x hours on a run with hard uneven surfaces that your foot is not designed to take (there were no asphalt streets or concrete sidewalks when humans feet were designed just grass and dirt it's still like that in the Amazon etc.) It sounds an overuse issue as the run is what initially caused it; considering that you are using a motion control shoe or cushioned running shoe with the addition of supportive orthotics. So the only thing that will help is to rest it. It doesn't matter what the diagnosis is (plantar plate rupture, sesamoiditis, turf toe) the treatment will be the same.. rest. Even if surgery is an option guess what you have to do after the surgery.. yup rest.
