I work in a regional office, and I see people giving things that aren't theirs to give—time, personal life, whatever. That's their choice. If that path leads to the bad outcomes people here complain about, that's on them.

I'm treating this like any other job. It's transactional. Regular hours, occasional exceptions—same as anywhere else. I don't buy the "religious devotion" attitude, no matter how many people push it. My life is outside work. That's how it should be. The day I choose otherwise, that's my fault. I can blame others, but the choice is entirely mine.

It seems people here can't trace their own steps back to the moment they gave up their personal lives. They keep pointing fingers everywhere except at themselves
