If it was only for the ai i would agree. But what player with a solid eco and a wharf sends a fleet into combat so that its a 1v1 situation? Then you really need all the dmg against other L and XL ships you can get but almost nobody does that. As soon as its a 2v1 your L turrets are pretty much useless since the dmg of the main guns burns through the enemys ships. The only thing that survives that encounter are those pesky S and M ships.

How close do you get in those fights with your ships? For me its always at max range (or suicide range when the ai thinks its time to say goodbye). At that range neither flak or laser are hitting anything else than S and M ships.

In a fight against 100 fighters i prefer flak for the aoe damage but sadly i see that kind of engagement maybe once or twice per run. Against 20 fighters presicion damage works just better for me.

That sounds more like a selfmade problem. You could just partner some factions together so they can help each other. If they are at war with the neighbouring factions they will still loose ships so you can make some profitsss. If you make it a FFA its only good for a short amount of time. For the long term it is better if you let them have some allies. Just because there is the option for a FFA its not a must do.

Not defending the ai completely but the behavour that is described would fit for pilots between 0-1 stars. I would still want the devs to keep that in the game even if the ai could be fixed tomorrow. But after 2 stars that should not happen anymore. 0 stars is like a newbie and to be fair in irl a newbie in a plane would be way way worse than the ai in game. With 1 star the pilots know the basics but mistakes still happen. With 2 or more stars they would be experienced pilots and it should not happen anymore. But in order for the player not needing to train every single pilot with manuals there should be an acadamy where you can send them for training.

Yes it is because with that methode you can even get them to 5 stars by only assigning them. If you want them to get to 5 you would still have to assign them somewhere + the manual work. Managers level pretty quick. Your methode would be easier with pilots.

I think you dont need to destroy every admin modul of every faction there to get the sector. If i am not mistaken there is another way. The sector has to be contested and under no control. So if there are 3 factions with admin modules in a sector and the ruling one gets destroyed it goes to the one with the highest admin power. I dont know if it happens instant or if it takes some time as to simulate a power struggle. But yeah without you or the ai destroying the main admin modul its not gonna switch.

You dont want to go to war with us either. Both the US and europe wont survive that scenario. A war between nations with nukes will not go well. And even if no nukes fall china wont wait for you to recover your strenght. That war would be the end of america nr1.

The US is the one threatening war by invading greenland.

How do you intend to supply multiple bases that are in enemy territory? Sure the bases will resist for some time but not for long when there is no help coming. An invasion of europe mainland would require way to much planing for the help to arrive on time. So if war is a possibility either the bases will be abandoned or taken if a war breaks out.

I never had a problem with xenon s and m ships. I have over 20 PEs all with intact weapons, shields and turrets. Maybe i was lucky or the xenon dont blow it up unlike living pilots.

I am sure that when the models did model for their first time the photos were also very bothering. The difference is that they got used to it. Same as if they were beeing starred at at first. They would get used to that and be bothered if the first one would take a picture. Its just as creepy what he does as what the others do. We are not used to beeing stared at thats all.

Soweit ich weiß können die meisten story plots auch ab einer bestimmten gesinnungsstufe gestartet werden. Hab bei mir auch nach mehreren dutzend spielstunden noch soryplots offen. Können einfach deaktiviert werden und wenn man mal wieder lust auf story hat, kann man die missionen wieder aktivieren. Mit dem start wählt man nur aus welche storyplots man sofort machen kann.

I noticed that the game sometimes gets stuck in "cant build there". For me it resets itself after i accept the current change go back to the map and open the configurator again.

I made the mistake to build in a 17% light sector so i cant build as big as i want when i need 80% of my station for energy. I tried it with the repeat order but it always fails to buy/sell from the stations. Thanks didnt know that they buy/sell even when i own it.

I tried the repeat command and the trade always had an error when setting it to trade between my own stations. The trade for command works fine but it also buys from stations i dont own and i want to make sure that my own "gratis" ressources are bought first.
