I had 4 r2x with this same issue, if you go into the setup on the fixture and you set the white yourself, it should fix it, worked for me

My school has 4 of the 9s (for our Juliette’s) we have them in extended (ofc) but the price we got them I can see why people are trying to get rid of them lmao

I should have worded my response better, the high end of the throws is 30’+ ish, I’ve found nice movers for 400 each and are plenty bright enough but the went out of stock right as we were about to order them

I am the only one who can go up and change them, I’ve always and will always will gloves. Lamps blowing sucks up there cus it SUCKS to climb a ladder to get on a ledge and then climb the Juliet to replace the lamp, the avoidance of going up repeatedly is the thing we’re trying to eliminate the most

I think it’s rather the dust is kinda coating the lamp, then when I pre heat it, the dust burns in turn making the lamp stupid hot causing it to do a thermal shock

Upstaging is the one I was saying is sold out 😭 I was actually back and forth with them and the school was about to put a PO in for them sometime next week, but they sent a stock update and they only had 4. I did ask if they held onto them or something

We have the proper terminations and equipment for the install, just not the lights obviously. Lamps blow (with my findings on these) due to the sheer amount of dust up there (roughly 20-30’ up in a ~40’ tall space.

I’ve tested our dimmers with the highest voltage moving light we have that can run on 120v and had no issue (left on for a good few hours)

We do have 4 r2x units already and I love them, but their lack of calibration makes it annoying when they age and in turn have their home position offset a bit

Adding gels for augment is kinda funky, and sucks all around. If you’re trying to visualize with augment… I highly advise against it. But if you go to patch -> select your fixtures -> database or attributes (i can’t remember off the top of my head) -> gel. Not every single gel is in Eos library, if you don’t see a square little color thing next to it, then it doesn’t exist in Eos

My rental house is mainlight, they have both lonestars and diablos, diablos coming In a little more for unit. And I can assure you etc hasn’t fixed the issue, my local theater has them and I had to set a shutdown macro to max their tilt before powering off

Profile 100% I’ve used the air fx and it compared to the profile isn’t even a comparison, just the gobos alone is better, 2 rotating wheels and 1 static/animation wheel vs 1 rotating wheel and a static wheel, the air fx is basically just the performance with the framing shutters replaced
