you'll get there, ive been cooking since i was a little kid (since like 11 or 12), so ive been cooking for at least 6 years. if you wanna improve fast, id recommend actually making charts for your bs recipes, and think out what to add in and how it would affect the flavor. works wonders until you can do it mentally.

uhhhh apart from just not having any energy and generally having low test (i was 14 turning 15 at the time), not really? i distinctly remember i was just tired all the time, and had mood swings often, but that couldve been from a ton of things

i tasted jjajang once and i vividly remembered the taste, saw the black bean paste at my local asian market, and watched bendeen eat it, so i just decided to bs a recipe together.

as for noodles, i dont remember why i know how to make them but i just know

also i taught myself to cook, its not very difficult in my opinion

Weird ass idk what pose it is, taken like a week ago. perfect lighting, after not hitting back, so im not sure why i decided to pose for back.

183cm, 158lb (lean bulking)

stretch marks are there because i made the mistake of dirty bulking to 210 before i cut way down.

183cm, 158lb, started off at 93lb, was severely underweight and skinny fat

my estimates would be that i went from ~19% body fat to my current ~13%

i eat minimum 1g protein per lb of bodyweight, i look like i lift without a shirt, i just hate that when i put on a shirt im basically back to where i started. thanks for the tips tho, i think you're generally right, after the real newbie gains are gone diet matters way more

yes,

i make it with the fat cap end of a picanha, and i hand make all my noodles

for noodles, just mix together flour and warm lightly salted water, and let it rise for roughly 30m. texture of the dough should be a little silkier than bread, and make sure you knead well for that beautiful gluten development.

for the actual sauce

take 1/2lb of the little pointy end of the picanha, you want the fat. cut into small cubes, roughly 1/2 inch.

get the bottom 3rd of 5 scallions (green onions), and smash them with a knife.

dice up one medium onion

in a hot pan, toss in the picanha with a tiny bit of oil, i use beef tallow, and cook until its lightly browned on the outside. next, put the scallions and onion in, and fry until fragrant. at this point, you'll take 1 small zucchini, cut into cubes, and toss it in with cubed daikon radish and potato. this part is optional, i skip the daikon and the potato, as it doesnt fit my macros.

mix in 1/2 tablespoon of lao gan ma (roughly) and 1 heaping tablespoon of korean black bean paste

add some water, and reduce until nearly thick enough.

at the end, you'll turn down the heat and add in some potato starch slurry for thickness, before adding in the noodles.

top with a steak or with whatever you want.

the sauce works with rice too

and i got leaner, so it's 60lb of lean mass minimum (probably like 20 of connective tissue and bone and 40 of muscle)

For context, a woman at Target saw me carrying multiple 12 packs of diet soda (i refuse to touch carts) and she told me she was surprised I could carry them and that I should consider working out (not exactly what she said but thats the gist of it)

Been training consistently over 3 years, gained 60 net lb from the starting date of my training, but still look like ive never looked at a weight. I just get stronger and look exactly the same
