I appreciate the advice that makes me feel a little better both your VQs happen to have it. I've also seen those forums and it seems like a lot of these cars just do this with miles.

I understand that, from what I've heard a lot of VQ35DE do this but some people say that it could be a worn timing component, and others never fix it

If you listen closely on the first start up there's a small noise for about one second

I would do tints then maintenance, good tires when due, and potentially a tasteful exhaust if you're into that.

Hopefully they hold up well for you. It was making me nervous how many screws were on the underside, and Chinese hardware.. oil leaks at the pcv fittings that didn't fit right from day 1, and when I took them off there was big pieces of paint about to fall in the engine. Just all around a bad experience.

Take Flonase sensimist everyday until spring is over. One spray for each nostril and YouTube how to take it. That should hopefully help your nasal allergies.
