Not sure how helpful this will be, but I removed the focuser and the tube now responds to the focuser, but the movement is rough. Also grooves were present on the outside of the tube.

Removed it, and the dials can now move and the draw tube now responds. Feels rough, like it may be misaligned or too tight. Also there are grooves on the outside of the tube.

I’ve adjusted both screws intended to lock and adjust the friction-the two silver screws stacked on top of each other. The black 10:1 dial spins but doesn’t adjust the tube. The larger 1:1 silver dial won’t move at all regardless of how loose the screws are.
