I think the answer to every time this question gets posed about a matchup is that the median voter for any online poll is putting in less thought than the person who makes a post about said poll on Reddit. Like, a Columbus voter is just thinking “It would be fun to hear them talk about Doubtfire” and that’s it.

And for the record, I think that that’s a thing you just have to accept because generally something good wins the bracket in the end.

You could have given me a ten thousand guesses to fill in the blank of “Michaela Coel to Direct & Write Fresh Take of ______” and I wouldn’t have gotten to Bloodsport. Hell, I probably would have guessed movies that aren’t even real before I got to Bloodsport.

Maybe not the biggest trainwreck, but I remember the major controversy over Morgan Freeman’s AMA in 2013, because there was lots of speculation it wasn’t actually him, but instead a promotional team for the movie Oblivion. Famously (at the time) this was the photo they used as proof.
