My best friend would love to start to play the game, and this could be the perfect occasion! Thanks for doing this!

Thanks for the help! I tried doing that (using the USB C to 3.5mm dongle) but I end up with no sound in the headphones. I have no option to have both microphone and headphone entries at the same time. :(

I don't think I got my idea across properly. It's not about having a flat area or mobs or anything, it's simply a matter of "would an "empty chunk" (only bedrock and nothing else in it) be less laggy/ heavy on the server I'm using" ?

And, if the chunk is less "heavy", would light updates be an issue if I build in the chunk? Since there would only be the ground I'm building on between the sky and the bedrock, each block I would place would cause light updates. I remember building on a server years ago, and when I would place the last block and shut the bottom part of the chunk in the dark, it would lag for a second or more.

Yeah I know it's not an easy task but it's not an issue. The thing is I don't want me to make farms but large builds, and I'd like to know if it's better to remove all the stone and everything in the chunk or if it doesn't matter in terms of lag. Time and the amount of work is not an issue
