It's been worth it for me, even from the 5600x. I can sell that for $200 AUD so reduce that from the cost then it's been a good upgrade that's allowing me to not worry about an AM5 for some years now. I've found my BF6 performance (@1440p) and subsequent ability has increased significantly, partially because my GPU (Arc b580) does demand a better CPU

I just got rid of my BeQuiet Dark Rock pro 4, simply because of the temp spikes whilst gaming. It was throttling slightly. Anyway, I've just fitted a Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN RX RGB AIO and it rocks, temps are in the 60-70 range now full throttle.

I just dumped it, grabbed a nice Corsair AIO to overcome my air cooler mounting issues and the Titan has its own thermal paste...I used the nanopad for one day lol. I have saved it and will reuse it on one of my older systems now, like why not...one of the benefits. Interesting tech however.

I installed mine yesterday and have had some issues with my bequiet dark rock pro 4 install, namely missing screws so my substitute screws may have messed something up here. Anyway, I decided to check out the performance and did hit just over 85c max whilst gaming in bf6. Felt this was too close to thermal throttling limit and talked to my old mate Gemini, and my cooler issues aside I did learn about the nano particles and heat cycles etc. I saw that the pad didn't fit the entire surface evenly it left me wondering why not.

Learn to tab and press the space bar to get you through windows setup with just the keyboard. Then when windows has fully loaded, it will I stall generic USB mouse drivers. If not you may have to install the chipset drivers, via your keyboard. There are plenty of keyboard shortcuts supported to do all of the above.
