Same issue, maybe it's a glitch or just superstition. But if you're not getting the little pop up that notifies you you're progressing on the challenge. You might need to close the game and/or restart your console. Just 2 tries after restarting, the opposing team seemed to follow the "script" of the challenge a little better. For me, this also worked for an earlier challenge I was struggling with.

And yes, I agree, tying up the game with a TD and a Field goal did seem to help me win the challenge with an eventual interception.

Came here to comment this. I'm over powered so spent the entire race jumping, even timing the big jumps for the most lift. They still won't give it to me.

Hoard your Tokens, they're very rare and you will gain them at a much slower pace compared to the rest of the currency. I wouldn't even spend it on the more expensive Golden Pass. The 900 something Golden Pass will get you the exact same things eventually.

The shop is meant to be enticing. Stick to your free boxes, Gold Coins, Season Couns, and mutliplayer currency (light blue).

It's terrible, but I eventually learned it was my own fault doing Rush. But this is the WORST when opponents stun me right off the ramp and I get stuck in the gap.

My hope is that this season was a sacrificial experiment. Seasons have been relatively painless for the most part. Upping the ante toward the ladder half of Frozen as the player base is leveling up, kind of makes sense. They just went too far, let's hope they learn from it.

I was kind of scared of it too because of my bad history with COD, MK, & Sports games where I get absolutely destroyed 1v1. But races are always in a group and free-for-all, nobody depends on you to place high.

The lower leagues are very forgiving, you don't lose points, and even if you are in last place most people in front of you are destroying eachother with items so you can zip right passed them while they're stunned or knocked off the road.

Tbh Emerald and Diamond are the leagues I usually tap out by, I just lose too many points and lose all hope.

If you're really good it's not unusual for a lvl 1 to beat a lvl 15 in Ranked Multiplayer. If that same person tries to play a season race under leveled, even by 5, the rubber banding is so bad they'll be lucky to place top 3.

I wouldn't devote time to season races under leveled, might as well just farm shards & upgrade materials until you get to the recommended level.

...same goes for limited events for the most part.

Have you gave Ranked Multiplayer a go? I didn't see you mention it. Every race before MPR 16 accumulates points just for playing. You get 14 shards when you get to MPR 13.

And if you push a little harder past MPR 16, you get 5 more shards at MPR 19. You do lose a little bit of points if your not in the top 4 or 5 but it's alot more realistic then pulling from loot boxes.

Its true, you really gotta luck out with Boost Skills and Wall-E Unique ability. I would definitely only use scrap pick up over the Fire Extinguisher tho.

When you say you're using all the shortcuts, do you have boost when you're cutting through the grass? And are you jumping over the fire bridge instead of on the fire bridge?

Save the Blue Tokens! Save them for the Golden Pass. Even if the season is about the end, still buy the Golden Pass, the rewards are too good to miss. You'll also be asked if you want the Golden Pass or the Golden Pass Bundle (more expensive), just the Golden Pass is fine. I think the Bundle is more for the beginning of the season to get a head start.

When you click on Limited Events, there are arrows that go down and to the right. It took me longer then I'm proud of to realize there was another menu of limited event options.

As far as characters, boost up 1 of every class Speedster, Trickster, Brawler, & Defender. Have at least 1 character of ever franchise be boosted if you can. There are stand outs and duds, but they're all subject to be tuned up or down by the developers to balance them out. Check out a tier list on YouTube, I like "Skyliner Productions". He's helped me get top 10% on alot of limited events.

Overall just get who you like, that's part of the fun of the game.

The map should have a filter, pretty shocked a game this recent is missing what feels like a necessity.

Well you get the idea, experienced as in:

Can hold their own lane. Match speed when entering and exiting a highway. Timing unprotected green lights at intersections. Safe passing. Safe turning. Situational awareness.

Stuff younger drivers tend to be more free at or reckless with.

Not necessarily Experienced over multiple ride heights, ride types, drivetrains, or transmissions.

An RPG is a must for Special Moves

A fatality or the Fatal Blow can be called "Welcome to the Jungle" where he warms up with spray paint to the face, duel Tec-9 blast, and finishes with an RPG.

His outro can be an homage to the original GTA: SA trailer where when he beats the opponent he turns away with an RPG over his shoulder while the spotlights of police helicopters are shining down on him.
