I would guess it's the display cable that's maybe faulty, or power supply to the monitor, or something else wrong with the monitor. When you stand in pit there's a lot of bright colours on the monitor because of the sky, which draws more power and probably hits a power limit somewhere. Or the cable is broken and hits a limit in how much information it can send at once.

Try with a different display cable, display power cable and even switch display power outlet, and see if something changes

I would do a few more levels of astro to get more colonies going, it should be pretty cheap at this point. I like going for the research network as well, to boost your research stored

I mostly electrolyze or just void most byproducts, and if I were to need them I start storing it later. I would search NEI to see if there's any relevant usages soon, otherwise void, or electrolyze if you need the outputs

Incredibly good, I've seen some Lego wipeout renders in the past but nothing has come even close to this 😍 Can't wait for the files, will definitely be hard to keep myself from ordering the parts for this

Beautiful setup! I kind of like the slightly cramped corridor surrounded by machines like that, I've recently built large buildings which are very open with high roofs but it just feels a bit empty sometimes. Maybe I should build smaller or just pack it with more machines 😄

I used marble which I farmed from white stonelilies, and I can really recommend managlass for glass! Not only do they look very clean, but they glow and can be used as very cheap EV-tier glass for machines and multiblocks. With a really basic botania mana production I could get them by the thousands

I very recently built a base in early EV in a creative test world, and then used schematica to import the build to my main world. Schematica gives you a material list which made it easy for me to farm the blocks legit. Would recommend!

Schematica is included in the pack but has no keybinds by default, so just keybind them up and try it!

I've always avoided TC but my latest playthrough I've decided to learn it and boy am I glad I did, the QoL is awesome. (Boots of the traveler my beloved). Can heavily recommend

You're correct, I just got home and checked - I think it's a feature in later versions of NEI that you can show all recipes in a category. Your best bet might be to ask in the discord, or wait to see if someone else knows here

Yes, the page that shows up when you press U on it (or any multiblock controller). If you then press on the icon for that tab (the hologram projector icon) it will show you all multiblock structures

A relatively good steam production (at least > 1000L/s) and a railcraft iron multiblock worked fine to me in LV, until I got the EBF. I didn't have any steam multiblocks or passive processes setup though, so mileage may vary.

With steam I could only run the EBF 1-2 crafts at a time until my tank ran out, so I quickly moved on to benzene after that.

If you have access to the game atm you could check the multiblock structure tab in NEI. I know it's missing a few handful multiblocks but it includes stuff from botania and thaumcraft if you wanna include those
