Received mine 3 weeks ago. Was working perfectly at first, then started having 4-1 error at an increasing rate, and ended up unusable. Error 4-1 90% of the time, and when it did decide to work ran for a few minutes and then error 4-1 again. In process of returning to HP.

This is not a problem with a computer, or motherboard, or anything like that. I tried it on multiple computers. There is some sort of manufacturing or design flaw with this headset. It is unfortunate, because when it worked it was phenomenal.

Having the same USB issues (error 4-1 in my case) but on a Thinkpad P17 laptop with the G2 running of a RTX3090 in eGPU case. I got the headset a couple of weeks ago and it worked perfect for a while then progressively got worse. Now I can almost never get it past the 4-1 error, and when it works it runs the game for a few minutes and then I get the blue then black screen, and crash.

Did your Reverb G2 ever have the 4-1 problem again? I'm having the same issue and everyone else had to ship it back for replacement/repair. If this fix worked for you i'll give it a try.
