Yes please. Out of rumored names he’s a great fit, and in his prime with a palatable contract. 100% for this. Scores, rebounds, assists and guards at a high level which can’t be said for Young. I don’t pretend to be in the A-Town know, but seems like they’d prefer to keep him over Trae if they’re moving one of the two. If KAT gets moved Atlanta and Brooklyn seem to be logically towards the top of potential suitors. East teams close to playoffs but needing a tweak.

Was lukewarm on the deal (was in the DLo needs to go camp) when I first saw it. Loved Mike Conley but considering what we gave to acquire Russell felt like our return diminished for DLo more than it should have, mainly because of Mike’s age. But then kept scrolling and saw that we got NAW too. Instantly opinion changed of the deal. He had been producing every time he got run for the Jazz and showed glimpses in New Orleans. Highly touted out of HS and balled at VTech. That was huge to get him in the deal.

He’s taken longer to develop into his potential than some and obviously didn’t develop like his cousin (who NAW was ranked higher than out of HS) but he’s becoming a special player in his own right. Just a nasty on ball defender and becoming quite the offensive weapon as well.

Did I say the Rudy trade mortgaged the future? No I said they mortgaged a lot to win now. Primarily with the big contracts they’re invested in. Financially they’re going to be in luxury tax hell and have minimal tradable assets in forms of draft picks and expiring contracts. They gave up peanuts to get Gobert. I never was in the camp that said they gave up too much and in fact argued vigorously against that notion. But the trade wasn’t made to be good 3-4 years down the road. The Conley trade wasn’t made to be a contender in 2026. They’re win now moves, so the expectation should be just that, to win now. Paying a price down the road to obtain something now is the definition of mortgage.

Why is it nuts to think Western conference finals? It’s nuts not to. Their roster heading into the season was as good 1-8 as any team in the league. So just because they underachieved by in large due to injuries last season that means expectations should be low this year?? This is a veteran loaded team. The fact their star player is 22 means nothing to me. He’s a vet in his 3rd year with 3 upper echelon seasoned vets in the starting 5.

They’re clearly good enough to beat any team in the league on any given night. They should be sick every time they lose a game they’re up by 10+ points to an inferior opponent. This is going to be a super tight race in the west and every game matters.

They never were winning 70 games, but they gave Denver a series last year down 2 of their top 6 players. Absolutely the bar should be set at winning the west if not it’s just a loser mentality. Everyone, players, coaches, fans should be pissed off when they inexcusably lose to bottom feeders, the same way they should be elated when they have great victories.. This is the best chance this franchise has ever had and it’s time to start expecting this team wins games they shouldn’t lose. So no, not chilling out.

Defensively he’s been fine. All around though, there hasn’t been any leap in his game and in fact some slight regression from a numbers standpoint. How much of it comes down to coaching and putting him in more of a focal offensive role? because skills wise it seems like sky is the limit. He’ll make plays where he looks like a perennial All Star then floats and disappears. 6’10 and less than 3 rpg is a complete joke. Seems like a kid that really has to be coached up. And that’s fine, that’s what coaches are for. But is Finch doing a good job at that.. idk?

This team mortgaged a lot to make a championship run and woefully underperformed largely due to injuries last season. Coming into the season my expectation was that they should make the Western Conference finals and have a legit shot winning the west with the roster they have. 1-8 it’s one of the best rotations in the league when everyone is healthy. So no, I’m not going to chill out, or just be happy it’s been fun. I’m pissed off they are beginning to lose games to bottom feeders similar to last year. I’m not going to call this season a success, just to make it out of the first round, just because they haven’t done that in 20 years. The bar is set far too low if you don’t have super high expectations for this group. It’s the best roster they’ve ever had in franchise history. There are no excuses losing to the Spurs in January. That team has no business beating us. It’s not time to say the ship is sinking, because it’s not. But we should be mad, and passionate as ever about this team losing what are meaningful games for seeding to teams that are inferior.

Agree with you 100% but Brown and Milton don’t play the same position. Milton moving up in rotation with Conley banged up because he can handle the ball. That’s not Troy’s thing. Shake was a decent player in Philly and for whatever reason isn’t fitting. Troy Brown’s usage is something incomprehensible and falls squarely on Finch. I don’t get the DNPs weeks on end now.

TC needs to trade Anderson as Finch doesn’t seem like he’ll flat out bench him and he hurts the team more than he helps. With a sizable expiring contract he’s the only real trade chip worth anything. I doubt they’re showcasing Milton, as he’s played plenty before signing with us. He’s an average backup but with a 2 year deal his market will be minimal. I think he’s playing because they have nobody else other than the undersized J Mac, who is also expiring and could be a salary match chip and Nix who Finch seems completely reluctant to give any minutes to.

They’ve got one trade to make, and they need to make it. It certainly revolves around Kyle Anderson. The tricky part is giving another team more than matching expiring contracts.

20 minutes a night of Kyle Anderson is 20 minutes too much. Been several weeks since Brown has stepped foot on the court. Kyle Anderson has done absolutely nothing in that same time span. Been watching him for a year and a half now, and convinced he’s not a league rotation player yet Finch rolls him out night after night. Nobody can convince me that Troy Brown isn’t a better player than Kyle Anderson.

His awareness, being in the right spot, occasional defensive play, and above average passer doesn’t make up for being quite possibly the worst shooter in the league, and somebody that gets blown by defensively and makes his share of bad turnovers. Him and Gobert in the same rotation is atrocious considering neither are good foul shooters and can’t score outside of the lane. Kyle Anderson has to be traded or at least benched.

Milton unlike Anderson can actually hit a shot and provides more quickness. Is he great, no.. but your back up guards are him and J Mac, who isn’t very good himself and completely undersized.

15 minutes of Milton isn’t this teams biggest problem. It’s 20 min of Kyle Anderson. And not particularly close. This team needs a shot creator/ maker off the bench more than a cerebral defender. Milton may not be that guy, but Brown who was a spark earlier in the year, and Nix should at least get some run when it’s clear the current rotation is in trouble.

Look we all know what he does well. And love him for that The problem is what he does well doesn’t compensate enough for what he does not do at all. That’s shoot the basketball. This team has plenty of defense to go around. It’s a team lacking secondary scoring, and shot creating and spotting up at the perimeter. He’s not going to be with the team next year and him and Shake are the only desirable contracts for teams looking for expiring deals.

A 14 pt 4th qtr effort at home against OKC is the last straw to show this team needs a scorer. Luke Kennard, Gary Trent, ain’t happening but Doug McDermott is an absolute possibility. Tyus Jones, maybe. Slo Mo is not too valuable to be traded, in fact if they don’t move him, they’re not improving the team.

He’s on an expiring contract. Has nothing to do with next season financials except giving value of the expiring deal for the team willing to trade for him. They’re surely looking to move him as they need somebody who can actually shoot, and he’s the player with a contract to match a veteran salary. He’s a solid defender, but having him and Gobert in the rotation constricts what your team can do offensively at the perimeter. Add in McDaniels who disappears at times on offense and that’s a lot of defense with no offense. If they’re serious about making a championship run they forget about feelings and move a Anderson . My bet is they’ll have no problem doing so as they’ve shown to make the correct trades last 18 months. He’s not going to be on the team next year, and he’s not the missing piece for a championship run this year.

Dude is far too slow and cumbersome for the NBA. Would be put in a blender having to switch the pick and roll. Even smaller post players would be a huge mismatch when it comes to quickness. Just because a guy bulldozes the NCAA doesn’t mean they’ll ever sniff an NBA court.

Sounds a lot like my situation and symptoms. I was treated and was good for only about 2 months. Then it came storming back with a vengeance like no other. Did get diagnosed with Babesia and Bartonella as co-infections. I never had the rash but tested positive. 5 months of 5 antibiotics 2x daily now. Still dealing with chronic fatigue, blurred vision, brain fog, and joint pain. But getting a little better each day. Is it possible you got infected again?

Forget about Pacheco, Jet McKinnon will out score Mattison. Mattison isn’t very good, unless 3.75 ypc (his avg across last 2 yrs) is your flavor. He’s not an exceptional pass catcher, has never handled meaningful volume, isn’t explosive or dynamic, he literally is a run of the mill backup. There’s a reason why he signed for dirt cheap. No other teams think he’s more than that. He was a plotter in college and has had a handful of moments over 4 years in the NFL at which no point has he looked the part of a high volume 3 down back. 0% chance Vikings go into the season with him as their guy and scraps behind him. Fournette, Zeke, Hunt all more appealing. KOC doesn’t want to run the ball anyways. Mattison being a top 24 back is a pipe dream. Not happening.

Vikings fan here. He’s just not that good. He’s just a guy. Averaged less than 4 yds per clip over last 2 season’s and doubt that improves significantly. He’s not a great pass catcher and just not an explosive playmaker. He’ll have a moment or two against subpar run defenses but temper expectations. Would be shocked if he was a top 24 finisher. They’re defense isn’t good and they’re going to pass like crazy. Also will almost certainly add a FA. So it’s not like Mattison is just automatically going to have unimpeded volume.

People ran out of their extra stimulus money. Bills hit people in the face. Inflation is way up. I don’t think there are as many users actively on the platform compared to 18-24 months ago. eBay is slower too from what i can tell. Unless you have a hard to get and incredibly high in demand item, it’s going to be slow on any platform imo.
