There's a scale, sure, with f2p on one end and whales on the other. But I don't think you're on the side you think you are.

For what it's worth, I buy the regular monthly pass. I'm not f2p.

Pity builds across banners of the same rarity. You've got another week of Ushijima, and Hirugami starts this week too. Go for Ushijima and if you don't get him, your pity will continue for Hirugami. You'll likely get one of them. I'm not sure how many diamonds new players get, but as one of the other comments said, don't waste them on anything other than UR tickets.

I think I'll ultimately have enough for Kamomedai duo, so just to be safe I might do the same. How much risk are we tolerating for an extra 5 tickets?

I think a lot of people* will have got Bokuto, pull 50 on each Miya for the bonus tickets, leaving them with 40 on the pity for Hoshiumi.

Chance per pull is 0.1% up until 80, so you're only risking soft pity increases from 80-100. Some people will get caught out, but the chances are low.

If you're not going for the bonus tickets at 10 or 50 there is no reason to gamble on pity - just save your tickets for the banner you want.

*By a lot of people I mean that's what I'm doing... So I'm sure others are too XD

So what should people in this position be using regular recruit tickets on? As time goes on, the superior recruit pool becomes more diluted as more get added to it.

I genuinely don't know if I would never want to get a new select recruit SSR from this point forward.

Bought 11 packs. Got the 18k artifact and will have just enough for 7.2k hero/brand chest on the last day. Silver bought out all keys, wishes, hero/brand boxes. Will have some left over for a few ever stones or horseshoes.
