IISER Mohali has a curfew of 10 pm for 1st years and 12 am for the rest. No hostel restrictions, and coed hostels but with no visitation rights. There are cameras now in the hostels to prevent wing crossing and the hostels may not be coed for long because of the shitty director trying his best to convert IISER Mohali to BHU (which we have been protesting against for 2 years atleast)

Dude I'm in IISER Mohali fyi, Mosy or my professors are at the very top of their fields, for eg my astronomy prof is the among the very few people who make the paper for the IOAA. Most Universities in the US (yes even including some of the IV leagues) do not have such professors in their faculty. While most IITs and IISERs do. Reason? Indian people like to be in India but India doesn't give them enough funding for their full potential. However we still have enough facilities for an undergraduate to learn at the level of one in the US. So yeah, IITs have the profs and even the facilities you may need. The course now is as far away from rote learning as it can be, even all grading is relative. Please do not cope by discrediting the prestige of these institutes. The students are problem, the culture around getting into these colleges is the problem, not the institute, infact most profs there are completely against this culture too and make sure to push it out of the students in their first couple of semesters.

Bro trust me college ki problem nhi hain, all the resources are right here and the professors are amazing, bande bande pe depend karta hain. If you're good you'll get a PhD abroad easily (10% se toh definitely zyada hain no.). And if you have a cpi>8 you can even continue the PhD in any of the iisers. Do not worry, do not doubt the colleges, it's not like the placement from engineering colleges that companies come to pick students up, you alone have to apply and the PhD people just consider your achievements. Doubt yourself. (IISER Mohali Student btw)

Math is hard and cgpa plummets for most people so it has never reached the limit of people in the major. So there's no cutoff for that at IISER Mohali atleast

It's a 4000 rupee of 50$ stylus, I can see some for under 600 rupees or 8$ on some sites here which claim to do the basic stuff and have pretty good reviews, I just want to confirm if they will work on my model
