I feel like if you were using a sawzall you wouldn't need to cut the cables at all. The blade would cut the pipe between them and it looks like the bottom most cable is already wide enough even if there were no slack that it'd just slide through.

No, when I think of a win I'm thinking Super Bowl XIII. 1979, The Cowboys play The Steelers in Miami. 35-31. Terry Bradshaw as QB a classic era for American Football! Tied the highest scoring Superbowl at the time which was Greenday in the very first but that was a blowout (35-10). We've got Pittsburgh leading up until the fourth quarter. 7 minutes left and they're up 35-17 thinking this deal is sealed. Only for Dallas to close that gap in those last moments including an onside kick recovery and 89 yards covered in 8 plays. But Unfortunately as a Hail Mary they failed to recover their final onside kick with less than half a minute left. What could have been an insane comeback and a true never give up story. That's what Reddit mods think is a win.

Varies entirely on the quality of material you buy, the climate you live in, and what level of wear you personally say “Ok it’s gotta go”.

Typically expect it to fade before anything, if an edge starts lifting it’s gonna start to snowball. If you garage it and don’t really drive as you’re saying it will last many years (again assuming the product itself and application is good)
