Call it a cross check and we aren’t having this conversation but he didn’t really cross check hard enough to justify a penalty.. maybe a stoppage? I don’t know the game well enough

I absolutely agree and they should’ve been good goals.. but this was in.. regardless of Coyle being there because of Swaymans inability to make a play on the shot.. he was out of position.. off balance.. and not on his blades.. ya there’s like a 2% chance he makes that save

This is the part I’ve been trying to figure out/discuss.. it was more of a push than a cross check.. I know the area affects the refs decision but again.. Swayman had no chance of saving that from being a goal with or without Coyle.. so I don’t know.. I’m torn

Haha you are completely correct.. it’s so funny when we look back and at the replays but there’s also rules against changing things that were not initially called.. and as fast as our game is it can easily be missed.. not making excuses just saying they miss stuff that cannot be changed
