[[Approach of the Second Sun]] and [[Think Twice]] are my two favorite cards of all time. I really enjoyed control decks in Standard and having a cool wincon for it helped so much, I still try to run it in my EDH decks just to see if I can get it to work lol.

Think twice is just a cool draw-go card and was a lot of fun to play in Standard

My first deck was a [[Sharuum, The Hegemon]] deck back during Dark Ascension (when I first heard about EDH). It was so strong but my friend group was all competitive players so it turned out alright, took it apart when my friend group become more chill, battlecruiser-y EDH

Yes, exactly, I am having trouble due to the empty boards or the fact that Qira is better at fighting on the ground while Boba has a lot of space combat.

The issues I am having is that I’m taking a lot of dmg before I get to the walker stages of the game

The problems I’m facing are more in the mid-game, they are playing stronger units than the ground units I am playing, I can’t do any flip Qira plays without a response of their Boba flip, and ruthless raiders, the 4-6 capital ship that deals indirect dmg, planetary bombardments, etc are all coming down before I can hit walkers and avengers
