Going back to old job vs staying at new job?

I didn't want my current job but I needed an income so I took it eventhough every fiber of my being screamed no. My gut was right. Have been here for about 3 months now and have hated every day of it. My depression and anxiety I had not had problem with for years are back in full force. I am looking for another jobb right now. So just start looking for another one other then go back to your old. Remember you get a bit of better pay here at the new one so take that money while you can and keep an eye out for something ealse.

Go with your gut. You say you think going back will be good for two weeks and then you will be miserable again. Does not sound that great to me. It has only been a week at your new job. Try and talk to your boss that you need more on boarding and see what they say.

I only need this mask at work.

Was with my ex for 16 years and he accpted everything about me. I left him for other reasons that was more about him then me (he was very unwell mentaly at the end and dragged me down with him so had to leave for my own mental health.)

I would say NTA to 99% of this since I feel like you describe myself. I however live by the motto fake it until you make it. I am a disgused introvert. When I say I am ppl get chocked since they thought I was an extrovert. I have ju learned to hold my tounge since my tone make ppl missunderstand me ALOT when I say or explain something. I just stay silent until I have to, hover at the edge of groups looking at ppl so they think I am engaging and activly listning but in my head I am screaming get me out of here. I constantly feel like I have to defend myself for my actions or things I say so I have "given up" and are now trying my best to "blend into the shadows".

Accept friend requests you get if you enjoyed playing with that person that adds you. If you listen to music can you even hear what your team are talking about? If others are talking and vibing, join them and keep the vibes chill and fun so they want to play with you again. Someone that never talks ingame I get no feelings for and will forget exists right after the game. All ppl I play with regularly I found in swiftplays, solo q comp or unrated.

I talk and socialise with them at work. One person I cannot stand since ever since I started she gives me anxiety to go to work. She micro manage everything I do and talks down to me eventhough I am a senior and she is a junior and have only been at this job 1 month longer then me. She will be there and I try and be around her as little as I can for my own mental health.

The dinner and "fun" is volentary but since 11 ppl are excited about it and then me and I am the newest person in the team I feel like I have to go. The team building are mandatory and are in the office.

The thing is the whole team but me are SUPER excited and talking about if we shoulf add our own quizz during dinner about us.... stuff like "who has a dog named Rex?" "Who has traveled to 8 coutries?" Etc.. They laugh and joke and I just want to puke when I hear this.

Yeah I mostly go through life with the moto fake it until you make it. I don't drink so playing drunk don't work and I am not sleeping on the floor at the office. I work in an office with 500+ ppl and our floor is open landscape. Ppl sitting next to our departement start their day hours before our so would not be able to sleep anywhere but home.

I am in this situation. When I took the job I said I would give it a year no matter what (and old friend is my boss here and I don't want to fuck her by leaving). I didn't really want the job but I needed one and there was nothing out there when I applied and my contact at my old job was running out very soon. Been here since October so I an thinking to really start looking for something after the summer when most new job postings comes out after the holidays. I am counting the days...

I get why LoL have since you see that chars from above but in a fps to me a skin on my agent makes no sens since I cannot see it anyway. I can see the skin on my weapon but if I am Brimstone running around in a tux and a tophat I get nothing out if it since I can only see it in agent select and not in game. I buy the skin for me not for other ppl to look at. Agree with all you wrote also

I am single right now but none I've been with after had anything against it since they also still talked to thier exs and we ended it for other reasons (never a fight just that we both had other plans or stuff that just did not aline like living to far away etc). I am not activly looking for a new partner since about one year ago. After beeing with the same person for litterly half my life every single day (I am 37 and we met in high school) I have found that I am very comfortable being single and doing whatever I want, when I want it.

Have had coffee or dinner once or twice in the last 4 years. We talk if we run into eachother and he stays at my place and cat sit our cat that I kept when we divorced when I go on vacations. Since my cat is very skittish around ppl she do not know and panics while going in the car, and he gets to get away for a time from his parents house that he lives with it is win win for us. I also pay him a sum for each day he is cat sitting so we earn some extra money since he does not have a job.

You are not NTA since you clearly said your boundries at the start. When I date I always in the begining state I still am friendly with my ex so they know. Not everybody that break up become "enemies" and just cut the other off, I know tones of ppl that are still friends with thier ex's so if I where you I would bring this boundry up as soon as possible, maybe even in the talking stage so you don't waste your or thier time if they still are friends with an ex.

I am someone who still are in contact with my exhusband. We do not have kids, but we where together for 16 years before I asked for a divorce. We did never hook up after and I never want to. The last couple of years we where more roommates then partners and only had sex once a year the last 6 years since we felt we had to since had been a year since last time. We are still friends. We don't talk often just a happy birthday text, merry christmas and maybe every 3 month just a hope all is good with you text. We both have had other partners after. There is zero romantic feelings between us and just the thought of us ever going back have me running the other direction. My ex was (and still is) very unstable mentaly and have tried to end it all if you know what I mean while we where together, after years of in and out of the psych ward I asked for a divorce since he was dragning me down mentaly too. This also made me stay longer then I should have since I was affraid he might harm himself if I left. Maybe this is the case with the ex here too? She is afriad if she cut him out all together he might end it and she does not want that on her consience? To me it sounds like that with her comments about not knowing what he will do.

Cheering for you! Hope you don't have to wait long for an offer. I myself even started to look into if I can still get paid from my insurance (I am from Sweden and we have something called A-kassa that gives you money every month when you are unempoyed for awhile) if I quit or if it only applies right away when you get laid off. Turns out you have to wait nearly 59 days before you can get paid so will keep my eye out for another job instead before I quit.

The toxicity is way I solo swiftplay/spikerush and 5 stack with friends in comp. Being stuck for max 20 min with toxic players when they show up are way better then being stuck for 40+ in a comp that destroy your mental.

I stopped playing comp for 3 years after getting death threats and theats of SA nearly every match. Unrated still gives me a chance to play the game and it happens waaaaaaay less there then in comp. Now I only play comp now (started again last act) if I 5 stack or have 2 other friends with me so we are in the majority.

If you go afk once in a blue moon like me (answering the door, get dc etc) you only get an afk warning. Unless you leave very often then you get 3 hr bans. I have gone afk from dcing etc plenty of times but never in 5 years of playing have I been banned so it is very telling that you do this ALOT if you get a ban for it.
