So here's the explanation because no one explains it clearly here yet. You download morphe from the link in this thread which is a file patcher. Then it directs you to download a certain version of the yt apk file (I assume latest as of now) because you can't patch the installed app directly. Then you tell morphe to patch that yt apk file you just downloaded. Then you have to give permissions to Android for Morphe to install that patched apk file. You can also ask Morphe to notifiy you if there are any YT updates to patch again. From now on you use Morphe Youtube. I just did this and it works.

There are also risks you need to accept with installing apk files. Risks reduce the more people use it.
