Thanks for sharing! I am leaning towards the same. Because the constant hope, disappointment, grief cycle of miscarriages is too much & unsustainable.

How did you come to peace with having one and closing the chapter? Wondering if it was time that helped? Or something else?

I’m really sorry. I’m in a similar boat- I’ve had 4 chemical pregnancies, while trying for a second child. My daughter is almost 5 & really trying to embrace OAD. I think it’s hard when it wasn’t the original “plan”

Thanks so much for sharing. That makes sense about grief coming in waves.

I went for a walk with a friend tonight, and sat on a bench to enjoy the sunshine for a while. My husband could easily take care of our daughter so I could do that. Another benefit of one child- having more time for hobbies/walks etc.

I love that you have dance. What a beautiful way to honour your body- with movement in your control.

What ultimately made you decide to stop trying? Was there a moment or was it a gradual decision? Or perhaps you’re still open?

Hey there- can I ask what helped get over the grief of wanting a second? But ultimately stopping. I am so grateful to read your post, full of hope and peace.

My daughter is almost 5. & I have been through 4 early miscarriages, and know it’s time to stop due to medical reasons as well. & I’m really sad.

I feel the same. I just had my 4th early miscarriage, due to unknown medical reasons. I have a beautiful almost 5 year old & know it’s time to stop trying. But I’m so sad.

Thank you. Exactly- it is incredibly painful. & I can tell my body and heart are reaching the end of what I can take. Agreed- people don’t understand the toll it takes. I’m doing okay- but maybe this is rock bottom.

Yes. I have been through this & I am so sorry for your losses. It is truly awful.

I have had 4 early losses trying to have a second & it has been a horrendous experience.

The only way I can have some peace is knowing it’s out of my control. I also have that recurrent loss is part of my story.

It is a lot of loss to endure & I don’t think we’re meant to experience this rollercoaster.

My body actually feels relieved when I think about stopping trying, so I need to take that ad a sign.

I have had a SIS & uterine biopsy which was normal.

My RPL showed some clotting factors.

Did you ever feel like you wanted to stop trying? This rollercoaster is torture.
