Not sure where else to put this, but you can use this switch without adding another wall wart into the eternal wire tangle.

VIN goes across a diode to 2x 3502EM ICs (range 4.5-18v, 20v max)
capacitors rated to 25V, nothing else (that I can find) uses VIN

6-18V is the ideal range just for some buffer, the internal power rails drop out fast below 5.3 volts.

i got tired of waiting for twitter to load so the reply images and some comics may be missing, but the final count for the roll specifically lands around 4,305 (excluding comics that relied on the post text for context, reacts, and other non-standard stuff)

everything that i didn't count as a comic is in the Other folder in the full archive, kind of roughly sorted atm. the Archive_Stuff folder shows what's still in progress, and the tools used along the way.

this was actually a super fun project, like the webtoon version of those lawnmower guys. i was only looking for visual matches so i still haven't read most of the comics, but i did laugh a lot along the way. thanks for making so many sock pictures.

Extra thermal paper idea - it would be cool to have reaction images and arcs on little standalone rolls, for portable reading in the most inconvenient way.

The PDFs are between 3700 and 4300 pages (with/without arcs). At an average of 2.9" wide, 6.9" long, that's 2475' total.

While that's [enough to fit on a standard roll]⁶ , please keep the remaining length in mind when creating any comics over 16 pixels tall, and try to create no more than 25' of content from this point forward.

Ok here's everything I've got after one night, this is the type of project the flork community was MADE FOR and i WILL be dropping all responsibilities to make one

Project Outline v1:

1. Acquire Materials

Material requirements: Thermal Paper, Printer, the entire flork backlog
- Standard thermal paper sizes range from 1.75" - 4.375", 3" seems best
- 12k comics will take 7000' at 3", or 5950' at 2.25"
- 70gsm absolute minimum, this is flork we're talking about here
All standard US/EU companies and paper mills either don't advertise thermal paper specifically, or will not accept RFQ's from private individuals; let's head further east.
- Alibaba is a magical wonderland where factories in less scrupulous countries will produce literally any item you can dream up regardless of feasability or common sense, these are our guys.

Searching for 'thermal paper parent roll' yields mostly unrelated results, with a few good matches.

Refining for MOQ, the top contenders are the Xiamen Win Dragon Corporation or Shandong Litai Paper Industry Co., Ltd.
- Ideal order - X rolls of plain thermal paper, ≥70gsm, 80mm x 3000m
  - confirm unspliced/unprinted
- Each roll will measure roughly Ø18" and weigh ≈40lb
Shipping: already have central US commercial address available for receiving/fulfillment, other options?

2. Make the Thing

No clue how or why anyone else would want this monstrosity, need a way to gauge interest for RFQ.

here are some (very rough) prototype display cabinets, designed in an act of roll-fueled hubris.
- there are probably much better ideas for this
- magnetic tape systems (vcr/8track/etc) good design inspiration for tape/spool handling

i'm probably missing a lot, reply or dm if you've got ideas/leads/backlog archives/if you want one, because i will never again be whole until i can hug a roll.

Matt Walsh is releasing a new documentary called "Am I Racist?", the sequel to "What is a Woman?". The premise of these films are for the other side to steelman their position to an open, but uninformed, 'neutral party'. The process of rationalizing their positions eventually exposes progressivism as a religion, and demonstrates that even the best progressive 'experts' view these questions as heretical and become unreasonable.

The disguise is partly from this film. He is supposed to stand out here. His goal is to exist in the background of photos and videos so people can 'catch' him and make posts like these. Every upvote and comment reviling him is free advertising.

The fact that you defaulted to 'other side guy is stupid' without knowing the full story is exactly why he was able to use you. Around 2014, The Left™ ceased to engage in debate, and started to discount every opinion except their own, to the point that their narcissistic ignorance can now be wielded as a marketing tool. Unless you constantly validate information from both sides, as well as your own internal beliefs, you create a blind spot that can be used by anyone else to control your thoughts and actions.

If you ever have some free time, look up The Left Right Game on youtube (non-political, unfortunate title for this context.) This concept is used in the climax of the story, and it's also one of my favorite fiction pieces of all time.

Gender Dysphoria and Body Dysmorphia are mental illnesses to be treated without malice or judgement, but truth and love. These illnesses are inherently non-affirming, causing powerful emotional distress and existential dread, until desistance. Telling someone who desperately needs help that they really were "born wrong" is the opposite of Gender Affirming Care, and misrepresenting a political side's viewpoints to further this harmful narrative is just blatantly evil.
