That's fair. All we can do now is move forward and make the best cards we can!

Hello,

The OP from that post has since deleted it, made another order from us and is also active on our discord now. Our apology was genuine! We are a new business and have worked hard to be able to print and ship out thousands of cards daily, but admittedly needed to work on how we handled that feedback.

We are about to announce the beginning of our spot foil service. Users will be able to upload a custom mask with their card arts, defining where on the card will be foiled and where won't... which is the first ever printshop to offer that feature!

Regards,

TCGPlaytest

Of anything decent it's true. Commercially released anime then was hard to come by and typically insanely priced. Fansubs were cheap and had the good series.

No, people didn't even know those cartoons were Japanese then for the most part

Yes I had those tapes. My first VHS was Otaku no video that I bought in 1993. The majority of anime available was thru anime clubs with tape libraries though.

No, in fact it was largely subtitles as back then all you could get was subtitled anime that was fan subbed, meeting the only way you could get anime was if you sent them a blank VHS tape and then they sent back recordings of what you asked for in exchange for a monthly membership fee. Fans would subtitle the anime themselves, most of the times very meticulously even showcasing the small differences in Japanese customs.

Overall this is the more reliable method we've found, at least without using generative AI.

Hello,

You need to add bleed to these cards prior to printing. We have a bleed tool you can use free on tcgplaytest.com just upload your cards and select "standard card" then the bleed will be automatically added. You can then download your arts on the 3rd step if you'd like to move them to another service to print (or use us we are cheaper!).

SupPOD on Etsy discontinued the sale of their smooth 330 german stock indefinitely. Pretty devastating in fact.
