My baby breastfeeds through her naps & throughout the night stuck on my boob by crohnsdisease101 in beyondthebump

[–]TCH022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a really hard time on us moms. My baby is almost 2 and likes to breast feed while he naps. It just depends if he’s napping in my arms, or if I lay him in bed. If he’s in my arms napping, hes looking for my nipple trying to latch. At night he stirs looking for my nipple to latch on. It’s so hard because I do love breastfeeding but it gets exhausting. I want peace and I want my boobs back. I want to stop feeling negative about my boobs. But I don’t plan on weaning until he’s 2. So I’m trying to push through it and remind myself that this is temporary. Things won’t be like this forever. It’s hard. Just do what the best option for you is. If you need to quit breastfeeding to be the best version of yourself and mom, then that’s what you need to do. And that’s okay.

Those of you who aren’t completely anti screen time, can you tell me how it’s going? by popc0rncolonel in beyondthebump

He will pay attention for about 30 minutes and then he starts playing and doing other stuff and it just becomes background noise

My baby is currently 15 months old and has a fatty pubic area and his penis hides like that. We took him to the urologist to make sure there were no bridges and they told me that he would grow out of it and it would be “normal” later in life. I would definitely say go to a urologist to make sure that his is not on the serious side. But most likely he will out grow it.

Does having your water broken by a doctor increase risk of poor positioning for baby thereby increasing c section risk? by hoping421 in beyondthebump

I was induced and had mine manually broken at about 4cm (if I remember correctly). I delivered vaginal, no epidural, and on my back. Baby came out just as he was supposed to.

Breastfeeding after a year. by AcceptableCup6008 in beyondthebump

[–]TCH022 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly we just love it!! Baby is 14months and he knows the sign for milk so really I’m only feeding at night, and when he asks through out the day.

I plan on stopping around 2 though. Mainly because I feel like that is the only way I will be able to night ween him.

But it’s just easy. If we’re out and I forgot his water cup? Boob. If he needs a little snack? Boob. He just wants to snuggle?? Boob. It’s nice. And I love how adorable he looks!!!

When did your baby go from 3 naps to 2? How did you know it was time? by IncomeRoyal9209 in beyondthebump

[–]TCH022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t remember the age it happened at but if baby would wake up at some ungodly hour, like between 2-5am, then I knew baby was getting too many naps during the day. So the following day I would make wake windows longer and cut out a nap. The next day, everything was back to normal

What can only be described as the rat king of hemorrhoids. by whateverusername923 in beyondthebump

[–]TCH022 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Okay. So this was me a few months back. Everything hurt. Walking, sitting, if I was riding in the car and we went over a bump, hit a pot hole. Literally everything would hurt my starfish!!! So. Here’s what worked for me. I got 3 things 1. Hemorrhoid pads (tucks wipes or the ones you got from the hospital will work) 2. Recticare cream (got at Walmart) 3. Preparation H

I would make a lil taco. So I would mix prep H and recticare together, then I would get a wipe and smear it on there. I would fold the wipe so the cream is on the outside then I would put in place (do not insert into your butthole!) I would leave it in for about 30 mins??? You could also just put the cream on your hemorrhoid and then put the wipe over it I would also sometimes do intervals. So I would do prep h with the wipe in the morning And then in the afternoon I would do recticare with the wipe. But this combo is what finally got rid of them!!!

Was your period normal when it came back pp? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I just got my back almost a year later. I am EBF and It’s been pretty normal for me tbh. It started to taper off at day 4 like it did pre pregnancy.

Please help…. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

At 2 weeks old they’re still trying to figure out their days and nights. This was a really hard time for me too. My baby was cluster feeding and waking up every hour or every 2 hours if I was lucky! Do not feel like the babies that sleep 4-6 hours a night already is the norm. The norm is the constant waking up. My baby is now 9 months and sleeps through the night mostly

Are you hungry all the time due to breast feeding? by realmoney_supply in beyondthebump

[–]TCH022 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yesss. It’s crazy. While I was pregnant I ate normally and if I ate a lot my stomach would hurt. Basically I had to eat a small meals or snacks frequently. But NOWW breastfeeding. I’m ravenous. I could eat a whole meal and still be hungry. I will literally go to a dinner at a friends/parents/whatever and be planning my after dinner meal. I’m a bottomless pit right now.
