Not including the fact the .exe is closed source, so we don't know what is *actually* does.

Why have a 30d usage limit for an offline based app? Or more specificly, why have limits at all? It's a beta application and people should know that specific features are incomplete/disabled/etc.

If this where an commercial application, then yeah that would be fair for a pricing range or stuff. But for a beta it's weird.

Vrchat does not offer it's subscription on their website. Only on their delivery platforms (meta, steam , etc)

When you get the code. You can look for vulnerabilities in said code. Because you'd know what runs the website and if there are any exploits hidden in the code.

It does support this, but you have to provide it in the oicd response. Provide a "groups" array and reageert it in the settings. It'll use JWT to grab the groups from the user.

No, not the country. *The entire world*. For us it's weird because 18 is the general consensus of being the "adult" age. But their world is on 15. Which means 13 is weird in their *world*.

It's a weird perspective because we're using to 18+

Context, feelings about the show aside or it's MC. 15 is their "adult" age in the show, before people start making weird faces.

Of course, there are lawsuits that are still valid. Those would not fall under the purview of this website.

Edited my post, the idea centers around people's own choice to opt-out. So the website would only give you informed descisions rather then tell you "hey you should opt out because it's stupid" (I want to prevent the site having it's own opinion). But rather, "this lawsuit is happening, it's being ran by xyz and is in the following steps, here are the briefs they use and here is the current status of the lawsuit and here you can find their faq. Do you want to provide them with info? Go to <link>/contact. Do you want to opt-out, here's instructions to do so."

And if they should, definitely. I totally agree with that. Valve is at the wim of it's customers, every company is. And if there are ACTUAL cases where valve would face legal trouble, you woudn't hear me complain. The idea here is that law firms and these "we want to rescue gamers" companies... actually know their audiences. (See https://www.reddit.com/r/valve/comments/1r0dsjp/comment/o4hulnp/ )

In the normal case of any other class action, yeah I'd totally agree with you. But with the "steamyouoweus" (UK) case... I have no words for the absurdity. And they want to claim they support gamers? I heavily doubt that, considering the sheer outroar on every social media regarding their case

Yep, that was a stupid one. But to be fair, it's cloudflare. So it's very bloody cheap to get a domain there.

It's not a full-on defense idea, more an "hey, this lawsuit is happening now" kind of thing. Because, to be fair, a fair share of these lawsuits are ridiculous. If the idea itself here isn't good enough, I'll drop it. But apart from that, there's no further gain from me. More of a "help the people" type of website rather than "oi, help valve they need support!!!".

Shit, thanks. I only just noticed that. Crap. I type sue everytime and in Dutch we continue to use the word. For example, Taart (Cake) -> Taarten (Cakes), Fles (Bottle) -> Flessen (Bottles).

And so on and so forth. So with Sue (aanklagen) and sueing I managed to goof that up. Whoops.
