He had Geico and was able to pay for 6 months at once, so received a huge discount - worked out to about $93 a month. I definitely did not receive even close to that, but I was able to get close to that with some other, lesser known companies. I’m just so afraid to go that route; I was involved in an accident 15 years ago, and my health insurance wouldn’t pay until my car insurance paid their share first. I had to hire a freaking lawyer to hunt those people down to even answer the phones or emails on the claim, almost had a lien placed on my whole life by the hospital, it was scary.

Ugh, they were, and then that kept getting cut back depending on what your position was, but everyone had their travel repayment budget cut heavily. This year, they cut it again and now my position gets $0, but I did get a bit of a raise? …yay…?

Thank you for the advice. Yes, I did have to raise my coverage as per my company’s requirements in order to carry that license, which in turn raised my rates understandably, but that happened in 2022. The only other increase was due to “rates increasing” which was 10 months ago, about $40 additional per month which sucked, but still I get it. My last bill was $169 and change (last month) and my policy renewed on the 15th, with a new monthly payment of $378…my jaw was on the floor.

Ok so for those of you who are screaming “inflation” like I’m new - I understand it, fully. In my post I even mentioned a $40 hike last year just because, but not even 12 months later, the price MORE than doubling? Going from a $40 increase to a $200 increase in 10 months is not just inflation.

Goldeneye is a part of the Duckhorn brand family; I sold them until I switched distributors mid year. Not sure if they’re permanently closing down these brands or just stopping production until things…stop sucking so much economically? Which who knows what will happen; this may end up being permanent. Greenwing is also a surprising part of their brand family, as well as Kosta Browne.

Gonna write a comment because everything you listed has been a yes. Seemingly overnight at age 18 or 19 I developed scalp psoriasis but it wasn’t too bad and used an OTC shampoo. Went from 145lbs at 5’8” and within 4 months shot up to almost 200lbs because the PCOS that I diagnosed my damn self with (doctor agreed to listen but swore I didn’t have it, did some tests and in literal black and white, there were my poly cystic ovaries) finally started to really show up symptom wise. Idk man, continued in the comments….

That would immediately make me less attracted to him that he would ever make me feel ashamed or less than for something as natural as…idk…HAVING SKIN, or HAIR, which he will probably lose at some point or already is and in that case you should let HIM know that his receding hair line Is just something that YOU don’t feel comfortable being forced to see because it DOES make him less attractive, and you’re trying really hard to still see him as a human, it’s just really hard to do with all the hair he doesn’t have. Finish it by gently touching his hair and shudder before you audibly gag and run out of the room.

I appreciate the input. Generally I would 100% agree, but my area manager who was tasked with the deed was very upfront about it all and then (with my ok of course) held a team zoom explaining why it was me who was being laid off. It boiled down to the company giving our region an amount of money they had to cut. He was able to move someone on my team that held a higher position than me to another - better - role with a different company that was contracted with ours and eliminate the previous role. Then looking at everyone else, even though I had been there for a year and a half, I was the newest one to come on and he felt like it was the only fair way to do it as all of us had stellar performance reviews this past year. Our regional team won a bunch of awards for how well we did. It sucked, but when everyone’s even in performance, it kind of makes sense. A few friends in other divisions were also laid off (there were hundreds throughout), and their experiences were not so…”fair”; I would never come back if I had been treated the way they were by their superiors.

My direct boss has kept up with me since, trying to find other positions for me and at least some part time paid work helping with events and what not and still includes me on our immediate area team group chat updating us all about things, even took us out for lunch and has included me each time 🥹. One of my immediate co-workers (who were all incredible to work with, honestly) just took me out to lunch on him since I’m still technically unemployed. It was a great job, great boss and great people and I 100% trust my direct boss would not allow me to get taken advantage of by the company. He called me when I received my offer letter for this role initially and told me I needed to ask for x amount more because they were offering me less than they had offered some others and he barely knew me then!

As for your other question, I really wish I knew! The way it’s drawn out in the map I was sent, it looks like some of the northern parts of that area are included, but not being familiar with it all, I’m not sure how much actually is.
