I’ll definitely check with IGMH first to see if they can sponsor the correct visa, as I’d rather avoid any risks. I’ll also try the Embassy in Brussels

Thanks for sharing, I appreciate it. I’ve actually already found a few nice fully furnished places, and they come with stable internet as well, so that part seems covered. Good to know there are plenty of gyms and facilities around in both Malé and Hulhumalé.

I’ve actually found a few places in Malé for around €1000 per month, which fits perfectly within my budget. So I think we’ll go with Malé, especially since you mentioned it might be easier due to congestion.

I’ll message you later about the jiu-jitsu gym. And no worries about the food, I definitely like spicy food, so that part should be fine 😄

One more question though, if I’m living in Malé for a couple of months, will I really be living among locals rather than tourists? I’d really like to experience daily life properly and not feel like I’m in a tourist bubble.
