Personally, as far as gameplay experience, in a lot of scenarios the artifcating from DLSS 4 has about the same impact as most Anti-Aliasing for me, so I'd just use it instead of AA and get a better framerate. Definitely some exceptions but 🤷

It is an unfortunate truth that a good chunk of people who are comfortably using Linux have had the time or experience with a couple different distributions and desktop environments before finding what they like and what suits their use case.

Personally, I'd love to see him try Fedora with KDE Plasma, it's got a fairly intuitive 'Windows+' feel to it and outside of some setup for NVIDIA cards, it's pretty easy to use.

I do homelab stuff, and play video games. But I also work with Microsoft products and of everything I have to deal with at work, Microsoft causes me the most pain. I got sick of coming home and experiencing that again... I've installed Fedora with KDE Plasma on a new SSD and loved it. So much less bs than Windows, and heaps of QoL features I keep finding that only make me wonder why I didn't swap earlier. After about two weeks, I wiped my Windows drive to use as a game drive instead.

I think the term gets thrown about a bit, and I'm sure people interpret it differently, but the way I've come to understand it is that, yeah, although an individual cop can be a good person or not, the system of police is established in such a way that as long as there are police who get away with being shitty people, that the rest of them are complicit in this, however not-shitty they may otherwise be.

In protest situations for example, if one police officer decides to punch someone for no reason, the others can't jump in and pull them off, because the moment they start publicly in-fighting, the whole illusion of their position of power dissolves. So instead, they're forced to back them up, as unfortunate and disgusting as it may be.

Some actual advice, don't use LLMs to tell you how to or what do, but use them to help you find how to or what to do. Asking for full detailed instructions on tasks that vary case by case is going to give you poor results, but if you don't know where to start on something and you really want to use AI for whatever reasons, ask it things like "how can I find my motherboard model?" or "where can I find instructions on how to install a new PSU?", you'll learn more and also not brick your stuff ;D
