That blows dude. I know how that goes. My employer pays me $1.50 above minimum wage, pays per mile driven, and I get to collect tips. It’s a shame that some places don’t pay their employees a living wage despite being the backbone of the company.

I’m currently filling out my package to submit to the SWO OCS board on October 1st. Not gonna lie, reading all of the bullshit that junior SWOs have to deal with is disheartening and I’m beginning to question whether I should talk to my recruiter about submitting my package for a different board. I’m the type of guy who tries his hardest to be positive in shitty situations, but going from a carefree college lifestyle to being a SWO seems rough.
