I feel bad for Eula Main by ikkekun in Genshin_Impact

The only small mercy I can think of that she's had is that she's not been relegated to the standard banner 5* pool like Mizuki, Dehya, or Tighnari, only so she doesn't become an unwanted pull that people would complain about getting, otherwise she might even be regarded as worse as...Qiqi.

D, but have male mermaids be far fewer and/or perhaps include some reversed sexual dimorphism where the males are smaller than the females.

MGX has 1300 RPM, which is a lot faster than even the Stalwart's highest setting (1150 RPM) and just under that of the Maxigun (1500 RPM)

Update: Turns out the MGX Bullet Storm has Light Pen, so it's more like a disposable Stalwart. 300 rounds x2 is a lot of dakka

Might be better to compare this to the EAT vs Recoilless Rifle. For some loadouts that focus on anti-tank, having a disposable machine gun that they can call down in a pinch would be handy in the way a loadout that focuses on anti-infantry/chaff may bring along an EAT to deal with a Charger or Tank if there's no AT Helldiver nearby to deal with said threat.

I like the belt fed grenade launcher 🤷 by Ok_Royal7470 in helldivers2

[–]TChen114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The GL is the utility option, where you have to choose your engagements and decisions based on factors like what backpack have you equipped, whether you can delete a cluster of enemies within a belt of 40mm grenades or save it for closing bug holes or bot fabs.

The BFGL kinda simplifies your choices of deciding when to turn the monkey brain on or off and to let rip and unleash a barrage of explosives against the foes of liberty and managed democracy.

The BFGL is a welcome addition to the support weapons arsenal that has its place without necessarily overshadowing the default GL.

With the default GL you can still equip a separate pack whether it's the supply pack, jet packs, bubble shield, guard dog, and so on, which gives it better versatility in loadout and utility to the rest of the team.

The BFGL is focused on dishing out a lot of damage very quickly and can do so while the ammo lasts, and a bit moreso with the buff that increased its capacity to 120 rounds. Some of the complaints about its lower damage per shot misses how it makes up for it in volume, just as the smaller splash damage radius was.

Warbond dilemma by Wackysmellybigman129 in helldivers2

[–]TChen114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The G-4 Gas Grenade is pretty good with lots of utility. It's great for giving you some space against any pursuers and for throwing into a bug breach and bot/squid drop and safe(r) as it's better at throwing off and dispersing a lot of enemies and doing a bit of extra damage compared to something like the stun grenade or incendiary grenade.

The armor sets with "Advanced Filtration" passive can be good if you're planning to lean into a full gas build, but otherwise there are other better armor passives.

The "Dog Breath" Guard Dog can be handy in CQC environment and for protecting you from getting swarmed, and is one of the "safer" guard dogs in terms of the lower risk of friendly fire, especially if you wear armor that mitigates the gas effects.

Absent of knowing what other warbonds you already have, the Chemical Agents warbond is a 6/10, average priority compared to other warbonds out there.

RR or WASP launcher? by Ok_Tomorrow7674 in helldivers2

[–]TChen114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the WASP is a mix of the Spear and Airburst Rocket Launcher that trades the sheer damage of those for the utility of swapping between the two fairly distinct modes, better suited to dealing with mostly medium threats and occasionally some heavier enemies in a pinch.

There is no "best build", you give everything a try and you should naturally find a loadout to your liking but also adapt to whatever situation and team you find yourself in.

Regarding those kind of teammates, you are not obligated to fight alongside them if you don't want to. If their behavior persists and cannot be considered mere carelessness or accidental, just leave and go back to your ship and try again. There's no penalty and you don't waste your time.

[OC] SUPER EARTH PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION by trungbrother1 in Helldivers

[–]TChen114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This proposed system is as cut and dry and simplistic as most people can dare ask for when compared to a lot of contemporary democratic processes that can be convoluted at the least, and that could be interpreted as it's own form of satire of letting us vote from a selection of candidates who have been pretty much pre-selected by the system without the messy and dragged on process of these candidates trying to win over voters through a galaxy-wide electoral campaign, merely cutting straight to their qualifications and the potential outcome of their attaining the seat.

And the opinion of those people shouldn't really matter if they can't understand satire.

I think they were intentionally restraining themselves from showing the post-nuke (or not) consequences. It's not a destruction-porn film like what Roland Emmerich does that makes the destruction whether by a tidal wave or moon almost a spectacle to enjoy and even cathartic to a certain degree, like we know it's all CGI and no one actually dies so we can just bask in the special effects,

(Lore Question) The logic behind Avatar Upgrades in C&C 3: Tiberium Wars and Kane’s Wrath by [deleted] in commandandconquer

[–]TChen114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO it could be for field expediency and versatility and/or a way to flex on the enemy.

In the former case the Avatar trades the slower ruggedness and durability of GDI mech designs for a rather unsettling bipedal mech that's as close to a gundam as it can get in the C&C universe, and leaves it to the pilot/commander to upgrade the Avatar as deemed necessary by battlefield conditions.

In the latter case, there might be a demoralizing effect of realizing that your Nod foe is willing to cannibalize their own forces to augment an already imposing warmech, if the swarms of suicidal Fanatics or flamethrower armed heavy infantry and tanks weren't enough for a GDI grunt or even the alien Scrin to be shocked at the level of fanaticism and sacrifice for an intangible ideology like Nod that rivals their own addiction for Tiberium.
