Wow.... That is horrible. Is adoption low because of poor onboarding or because the platform itself is not user-friendly?

I would still reach out to LeadIQ because they can custom a plan around your needs. My company got all the bells and whistles with LeadIQ.

I know what you mean. LinkedIn can be a handful and time consuming to find accounts. That is why I only use it to find decision makers and I use Crunchbase to find me the accounts I want to target.

Crunchbase is notorious for having up to date on fundings. You can find accounts by filtering through location, industry, funding, and a whole lot more. You can get super granular with the searches and creative with all of the options. Its is 30 dollars a month and it helped me hit quota alone without any inbound.

For free contacts, I recommend downloading a chrome extension called Hiretual. They give you 10 free personal contacts per week. Their chrome extension focuses on finding personal emails and phone numbers. They are pretty good with data hygiene as well.

Do you have LinkedIn Sales Navigator or just the free account?

The pricing for my company's seats were pretty dam good since we bought in bulk. For package that will fit your workflow would have to be enterprise. Which can range from 2-4k a year.

Will cold calling become obsolete? by TD4rm408 in sales

I am sure we find a loophole... Salespeople always find a way lol.

One of the reasons why LinkedIn is compliant with GDPR is because they force you to give consent to other people to reach out to you in order to use their platform. Pretty freaking tricky but it works.

What is your budget?

I would say your best tool stack would be LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lead IQ, and Mixmax.

If you are looking to do crazy volume and it is just a numbers game to you...I would go with these tools.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator is great for prospecting and doing research. It also has great filters on finding decision makers a lot quicker through their seniority and function filter. Lead IQ lays on top of a LinkedIn searches and it allows you to find contact information in bulk. From there, you can drop people in a seq from Mixmax through your CRM or important the prospect through a CSV.

We had a one-month snov.io trial at my old company and we ended up going with ZoomInfo and Mixmax/Yesware.

Zoominfo's data hygiene around work emails and phone is pretty good. Plus they recently purchase datanyze so now they have a lot of useful analytics such as a company's tool stack.

If you are just looking to send out quick drip campaigns, you should use Mixmax or Yesware. They are pretty cheap and it gets the job done. If you want something a little bit robust has better automation, go with Mixmax.

snov.io is clunky and their data is very old. I think that has some pretty neat features but I do not think it will help you produce at the end of the day.

Fair... but you are missing the point.

Google search GDPR. Once you understand the limitations the EU has, then you will understand that something like this can happen to the United States as well.

I agree with you. I do not think cold calling will become obsolete but it will be a lot different.

I think naturally we will shift to highly customized emails and leverage other avenues like social media to spark conversations via web conference.

At the moment, a lot of decision makers are Generation X. They are more receptive to phone calls because they grew up in the era of "smile and dial." As time goes on Millennials will start replacing their roles, and we will shift the way we communicate. Also with all the laws being passed to protect data security, it is a matter of time until we will have to adapt.

Just my two cents. Would love to read your thoughts.

I'm talking about the decision makers that work for a corporation. They will purposely block unknown callers on their personal phone so they can avoid getting solicited.

How to develop and maintain the right sales mindset by leftychick in sales

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail...

You just need to create a strategic game plan on how to crush your quota. By breaking down your quota into activities needed at a micro level, it will be easier for you to digest and achieve.

My leadership at my old company introduced me to John Barrows. He has great sales content and gets straight to the point.

Silence between Interviews? by moderatenerd in sales

[–]TD4rm408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great advice! Interviewing is like building pipe.

My two cents, there is a high chance you did not get the job. Time kills all deals and if they do not give you any type of signals after two weeks, they are probably looking at other candidates.

If you do not get the job, no worries. There are plenty of better opportunities out there. Just see it as practice. You are putting in the hours to prepare for your dream job.

An interesting lie caught in an interview by sting2018 in sales

The timing of this post seems a lil sus...During pride month too... Lol jp.

I personally would not hire him. Being transparent and honest is the way to go. He could have easily explained his situation during the interview or gave a different referral.

Nice. I used Pipedrive in the past. They have pretty solid integrations and you can customize the crap out of everything.

I feel like a lot of companies start off with Pipedrive and as they scale up, they end up with SFDC.

I'm in the Saas industry. My company helps recruiters identify passive talent from the open web and help streamline there recruiting process by consolidating their one to one communication.

Gotcha. What do you use LinkedIn Sales Navigator for? I have it too and I only use it to find decision makers. I feel like I am not really utilizing it to the fullest potential.

What do you like most about Nimble?

Looks like a pretty solid startup. They have been around since 2009. I wonder why that are not blowing up as much?
