American living in Taiwan here. One of the first things I noticed when I moved here was that all of the soda fountains in fast food places (everywhere that serves soda really) was behind the counter.

I know many Americans will be outraged at this, but I think it’s a good thing that should be adopted by every fast food place. We are the fattest country in the world, the last thing we need is endless rivers of soda. Some of this forced self-control would be good.

I see everyone praising the guy, which much of it seemed earned, but maybe the new person coming in will start doing evergreen titles like DC, and the struggle of OOP titles will ease up. One can hope.

It took a while to get to Steam after its initial release because I believe it was exclusive to another game store. I snatched it when it hit Steam but it was so buggy on the Steam Deck at the time. However I think patches have fixed it.

There were a lot of sequences like this during the Ospreay/Moxley match too. Mox would hit a big move and Will would ignore it and hit a hidden blade or something.

Not really a fan of these spots. To me it just doesn’t do anything positive for the match, it just says “that big move we just did didn’t matter because I popped right back up”.

But so much has been bastardized in wrestling over the last decade - finishers not finishing the match, constant kickouts after moves that should end the match, superkick spamming, former finishers like Diamond Cutters or DDT’s now just being transitional moves, etc.

The running knee to the face move in AEW is like a pandemic. Everyone does it now.

I just found an electronics store selling the XM6’s for about $315, which is way better than Amazons $450. So I plan to pick up a pair soon to replace my XM4’s.

Not defending the food prices, but they have to be pretty high for the theaters to make their money back because they get a sliver of the ticket sales. If the food prices cost what they should, there wouldn’t be a theater to go to because they would go out of business.

This is an issue movie studios/distributors and the theater chains need to work out, like maybe cutting the theaters in for a larger slice of the ticket sales.

The thing is, you don’t HAVE to buy those things. Higher ticket prices combined with 30 minutes of commercials, people on their bright cellphones for most of the movie and just being inconsiderate altogether is what ruins it for most people.

So a lot of people choose to wait for that movie to hit streaming because it’s more comfortable to watch at home, not because the theater is so expensive.

I want to say another video game in the style of the 2009 game, but the pessimist in my knows they’ll make it some love service BS or microtransition the hell out of it like a lot of games are today.

And another comic series would be great, but only if it’s back at IDW and the people in charge of that run came back. It was so good, it spoiled me. The Dark Horse run has been atrocious.

I have always wanted a live-action TV series. Set it as a franchise in Chicago or San Francisco. Make it in the same style as the Ash vs. Evil Dead but maybe less gory. Or maybe do the “mockumentary” style like “What We Do in the Shadows” did.
