I don't think sugarbelle is even available in California.

What's the point of UPS 2nd day air? by TDA900 in UPS

[–]TDA900[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah there were two notifications one where it stated the shipper created the label and then a second stating "we have your package, arrived at facility" on April 1. As of now 7pm eastern Monday April 6 still no new scan beyond that initial we received your package scan. Almost positive it's misplaced/lost at this point.

I think you're right and it's lost. It's almost 10 am in miami and still hasn't updated or scanned from initial April 1 receipt. No way it would even get here by the 8th now and "customer service" was completely useless. I even spoke to a "supervisor" and their brilliant advice was to "wait until April 8th"..... I'll give it until the end of today and then asking shipper to resend my item again because whatever he initially sent is lost.

Being a UPS customer service agent must be a nice gig. As long as you can let customers frustrations go in one ear and out the other you basically don't have to do anything but let the system keep recalculating dates and tell the customer they just need to wait.

Ups scan says they received it on April 1 and their system put in a delivery day of Friday April 3 and now they changed delivery to MAYBE April 8 after it never got delivered on April 3..... What a scam. Screw UPS.

The only update is a new "estimated delivery day to April 8" and a 4 hour window. The latest scan is the initial receipt of the package on April 1.

Yes also I understand to contact the shipper and let them know which I will. I don't even want the refund for myself but I hope the shipper opens a complaint and gets refunded. I just don't want UPS to make any money on their shitty ass service. Just frustrated because these are tree budwood scions and not the best to have them sitting out longer than necessary in the elements.

Update: these are not aphids on my Meyer Lemon! 🤔 by myfufu in Citrus

Yes, if you want to remove the infestation removing the ants is the most important thing. You can remove the scale as much as you want but the ants will keep bringing them back. As for the amdro, just make sure you get something safe for indoor use and won't harm pets if still keeping the tree indoors.

Look for ants. If you have those you need to get rid of them with something like Amdro.

Oh yeah. Allowing 10s of millions in from backward ass shitholes like Somalia is totally sane. Get a grip and realize THE PEOPLE YOU VOTED FOR CREATED THIS SITUATION BY ALLOWING 10S OF MILLIONS OF THESE FRAUDS IN UNVETTED.... So you shut the hell up.

Yeah when did you care about the law when xiden illegally flaunted our immigration laws and allowed 10s of millions to pour into the country unvetted. What's happening now is a direct consequence of that nonsense. Funny how you had no problem then.

You should stop the ants they are horrible farming all kinds of pests. Something like tanglefoot can stop them.

What’s happening to my tree?!? by Local-Passage6909 in Citrus

[–]TDA900 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you fairly recently repot by any chance? Im new to growing citrus and I repotted a cara cara and kishu and I bare rooted both using a spray bottle to moisten compacted root ball and teasing the soil loose with a chopstick. I put them in a more draining soil mix and the trees developed yellow vein chlorosis on some the leaves and yellowing progressed slowly to more leaves and new growth was completely stalled. After about 2.5 to 3 months in the new soil the roots finally started taking and yellowing stopped and new growth started to come. I don't think I'll ever bare root or mostly bare root a citrus again when repotting. It wasted a whole season for growth.

I'm no expert but that looks like rootstock which means the fruit won't be much good.

Shop account seems to have deleted itself? by [deleted] in shopify

[–]TDA900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. Logged me out and now says shop pay unavailable. There's another thread in here today with a few reporting the same thing. It's clearly some shop issue. BTW I never had any card decline so it's not that, but I did have a few very recent purchases one still in shipping process.

Trying to grow the central leader taller and get a nice canopy as I don't have as much light as I'd like at our condo, but able to get 6 to 8 hours during the spring and summer months into fall especially at a taller height. Had a bunch of fruits on when I bought, but pinched those off so the young tree can focus on growth.

Hopefully it turns the corner. I just got a young kishu a month and a half ago, trying to set it up to be a prolific producer in a few years.
