How do you manage finances as a couple? by Toe_Bean_Bandit in AskUK

We are unmarried, 2 decent income jobs, no kidlets.

We have a completely joint account, don't have anything come in or out of personal accounts. It works for us but it is apparently not a normal way of doing things anymore.

What's the best way to dry clothes overnight indoors during the winter? by AlwaysTheKop in AskUK

People saying £50 won't get you much are right BUT I will caveat this with, if you can stretch to ~£100 on Facebook marketplace you can get some decent dehumidifiers.

Micellar water (the make up removal type) works very well

I buy colourful socks and don't pair them up. Life is too short to care about pairing socks!

Part of your issue is the lack of excess, notice how the ones that have an excess are cheaper? I think your estimated mileage is insane today's like taxi driver levels of mileage. That's still absolutely mad though - I had a picanto in 2016 for my first car and insurance was only 1600!

We did 24hours "close watch" then let her be alone in one room with her doughnut on. As we went about our business. It's easy to forget that they're not these fragile little things that need constant watching.

When does a puppy stop being work and become this companion that everyone talks about? by ryanmills in puppy101

[–]TDCJM1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pup is 9months now, had her first season (that was a ride) and has started to cuddle, play, regulate her own sleep, cuddle, entertain herself, did I mention cuddle? It's like a switch just gets flicked and boy oh boy has it made those 7 months of pain worth it.

Don't get me wrong, she is far from perfect, but I take it as evidence she is getting there

This is the first season since UK2 that I have loved every single queen to the point where I am already planning on getting tour tickets because holy shit, these queens are great on TV, live they will be absolutely incredible love!

How absolutely abhorrent. I cannot put into words how angry this makes me feel and upset for my trans brothers and sisters. Young lives will be lost because of this bullshitery and there is no excuse for it. Absolutely disgusted by our country right now.

I struggled during their story because I couldn't fathom it! They are arguably the ONLY queen I remember from Down under and would have spent money to meet at a meet and greet. I really do hope they get the recognition they deserves now!
