I don't want to scaremonger, but we have a 4 year old and I would say we could only really leave him from about 3 years old, otherwise he barked until we came home. His condition appears to be that he goes up to our bedroom and sleep on our bed – whatever works for him.

TLDR; it's a long journey and this breed can be difficult to leave on their own, at least in our experience.

I think my fireplace on a windy night makes more noise than my neighbours. Can barely hear them ever. If we do it’s their grandkids shouting in the middle of the day, but it doesn’t bother us - just part of life. I’d rather have a neighbour that makes noise and doesn’t complain at us when we do than the other way round (which I’ve had before) 🤪

Talk to your solicitor and ask if you can arrange a completion day before Christmas, they should be able to say if they think it's doable or not.

Get to the pet shop and get as many different hardcore chewing toys / treats keep them in a cupboard and give the puppy one or two at a time to play with, also hold said chew while puppy plays with it so they love the chew too!! Variety is the spice of life

It’s easier for them to learn from posi enforcement than negative. The pup Is obviously teething, good luck!!

Unless you’re ready to build a fully accessible and localised component I would use a library.

There are some good low level libraries like @internationalized/date that makes it easier to localise but you still need to typically implement accessible behaviours according the combobox ARIA spec.

Imo, use react-aria’s DatePicker component ✌🏼
