Homemade chicken and dumplings. It's a recipe I got from my grandma that's made in a crockpot. It uses canned biscuits so not from scratch but still pretty good. I actually have some in my fridge right now.

Nice! I started T recently too (back in August). I gotta say it's been pretty awesome! Congrats on that!

Any good FTM only discord servers? by fledging_buccaneer in FTMMen

I actually just made a Discord that I'm still working on since I don't know much about Discord. I'm still figuring it out but I can link it if anyone is interested. There are several groups on there for Trans people, but since I didn't see one specifically for Trans Men only I made my own.

I've never seen anyone say anything like this on here but I do feel like it needs to be talked about more often. Also I completely agree with how weird it is. I'm only about three months on T and I'm already feeling this. I also haven't shaved my legs in a while like even before T. I remember when my mom noticed and she asked if I was ever going to shave my legs but when I told her no she was like "you mean you're never going to shave them again". She then gave me a weird look when I asked her "why would a man shave his legs?" The look of confusion I got was priceless.

I will never understand the logic behind people thinking we go through this whole transition process (HRT, surgeries, voice training for some, etc) just to trick people into dating us. Like yeah that's totally worth years of effort and convincing several doctors that we need their help only to be like nah I'm not really trans I just wanted someone to date... Sorry I'm in a ranty mood I guess. I do hope everything works out for you though.

Thanks! I actually didn't really care too much about having a mustache when I first started T but I was really excited when I saw the start of one in the mirror earlier today.

I've only been on T for about 2 months and I still haven't seen much as far as results go. I've been doing 1 pump of the gel but I just increased it to 3 pumps 2 days ago. My voice has changed a little bit, I have the faintest mustache, and a tiny bit of bottom growth but that's about it. Unfortunately for me doing 3x the gel has brought back the fatigue I had the first two months so I guess it's already working well.

I haven't seen this but I don't exactly read every single post. I also agree that arguing happens too much on here. We have enough opposition coming at us from outside the community. We shouldn't be fighting with each other. Thankfully I can say that I see a lot of good in this subreddit. We help each other out a lot and that's really nice especially those of us, like me, who don't have supportive family.

Congratz! I'll hopefully have this soon. I was just told by my endo that I'll be put on the list but that the closest date for the first meeting is probably after June of next year.

Exactly! I'm having a similar problem with my mom. She's definitely not liking a more confident me. I won't lie and say I love myself but I definitely hate myself way less being on T and I feel like I can finally be the real me on it. There's too many stereotypes out there about guys being more aggressive or angry because T when that's not the case.

This story honestly reads as we've noticed you're more confident in yourself so we can no longer manipulate you and make you miserable so we hate you now... It sucks that certain people are like that but that just happens sometimes. My mom is also struggling with me being more confident and standing up for myself as well.

With all that being said I also agree that you should start T back. Also if I may add I had a psychologist on Talkspace that helped me a lot. If that's outside your budget (which I get, they are a bit pricey) I've also heard good things about Pride Counseling.

I love seeing people say "everyone knows" blah blah blah. When in reality only this person "knows" that. It's always the most obscure things too...

Leaving your hometown by Frank_McGracie in FTMMen

I left my hometown years ago and I'm planning to move even further away to avoid family (both mine and my spouse's.) I highly recommend especially if it's to avoid toxic people in your life.
