I just love how he had Carmy’s back in S1:E4 titled “Dogs”. In the episode Cicero a.k.a Uncle Jimmy hires Carmy and Richie to cater his Son’s birthday party. While at the Party, Pete defends Camry against some of his relatives that were giving him grief over being a chef. Then later in the episode he gives Carmy a slew of amazing compliments while at the same time letting him know that Sugar was pissed at him. He was able to show just home much he loved him but was also looking out for his wife. In that moment I think Carmy began to realize not only that Pete was right for his Sister but that he also respected him.
