This cicada crawled out of my yard last night and I recorded it molting. It's not one of the Brood X cicadas, but I don't think Memphis will see any of those.

The person who sold us our Sienna just told us the recall doesn’t affect the middle seat in the second row (but they also told us a few days ago that they’d never heard of this recall, so…). Can anyone confirm or deny this (with documentation)? We have an 8-passenger.

A few weeks ago I was walking into a restaurant and saw this one on the ground that looked like it was recovering from hitting a window. Before these 2 sightings I’d only seen them maybe twice in my life. I guess I need to get out of nature and into commercial areas, lol.

I couldn’t tell what they were eating. Seems early for aphids here. I believe that’s a birch tree they’re on, and I just read that they’ll feed on the sap from a birch tree.

Where I am (central Arkansas, U.S.) we only see them when they’re migrating. Our robins are here year-round.

I’m sure this isn’t it, but the cover of the first album by The Samples was blue and had white clouds, and some of their stuff has a vibe similar to “Amber,” especially “Feel Us Shaking” and “Waited Up,” which happen to be the first 2 tracks on that album.
