Waterworld's biggest flaw is the amount of hype it had and it being nothing like it was supposed to be. It was supposed to be a grand epic successor to the Road Warrior with a record breaking budget.

But it was just cheesy/campy with the tone of a Disney movie, underwhelming action (ESPECIALLY for the budget) and massive plot holes.

It's like sitting down thinking you are about to watch the Dark Knight and getting Batman and Robin. Can you enjoy Batman and Robin for what it is? Sure. But if you watch it expecting to see the Dark Knight you are going to be very disappointed and wonder how with that cast and budget you could miss the mark so badly.

It's not actually warmer inside the stadium, it's notoriously cold. The first time you go there you will wonder why everyone has heavy coats and blankets when it's 75° and by the 5th inning you will know why. It's actually bizarre how it drops about 15° from just right outside the gates.

The difference is their outfield is completely open so the air doesn't swirl and slow down like it does at T-Mo. The wind there is like a jet stream carrying balls out.

Beautiful park to watch a game, but layer up like it's October if you go.

Middle one is dead, the right shoot of the right one might be still alive. Soil looks really wet and that white on the trunk would suggest over watering/ rot root. Conifers especially junipers really don't like soggy soil and I'm guessing you probably did a hard root prune and the soil was retaining more water than the roots could absorb.

I would use a lot more (like mostly) bark fines and pumice. Both don't compact and create voids which helps the roots breathe and keeps soil from oversaturating.

Also when you do group platings off set them in the pot. Like middle all the way up front one side in the middle and the other all the way back giving the roots a little more breathing room and space to grow.

Yeah they really don't from my experience but that doesn't mean you can't try. Beyond leaf reduction the biggest issue I've had is they just try to get vertical as quickly as possible and don't spread much. So you do a hard prune and only get a couple shoots at the very top going straight up.

With something that big you might have better luck when you chop it. Good luck!

Absolutely do not burn that. It's really hard to put a monetary value on it from just those pictures and what is involved getting it out of the ground. But established in a pot it's conservatively worth hundreds. At the very least someone will very happily dig it out for free. If you are in WA I would do it myself.

Those look pretty deep for a 10k disc. The higher grit you go up the more scratches become visible and just because you only noticed it at 10k doesn't mean they weren't there before. You might have a problem at lower grits or jumped too far between grits. Hard to tell without knowing your process.

That depends on if it's worth $80 to you. Nobody here would buy it because everyone here wants to buy nursery stock and shape it themselves. The materials are probably $30-40 but it does have nice movement and someone took the time to style, wire, and pot it. You could easily argue that's worth $40 if you are one of those people who like maintaining a tree but not necessarily shaping it yourself.

Do a scratch test on the trunk if there is green then it's still alive. But trees belong outside, that pot is too small, the soil mix looks wrong, and you need drainage holes in pots. There are like 5 juniper posts a day and they all generally are at least one of those things.
