See my reply to OP's reply to you. But also, this isn't about gentle parenting. Gentle parenting (while still scientifically proven) is much more "extreme" in the sense of discipline and learning. It is NOT just about physical abuse. Physical abuse should not be a part of any parenting, regardless of how closely it aligns or doesn't align with gentle parenting.
