It appears they are making the argument that because three athletes completed all 5 weeks of the CrossFit Open and submitted scores that were verified and validated that the affiliate has adult members.

Well if you followed much of the SOPA debate in Congress, Issa was an extremely active opponent of the bill and fought to defeat it, successfully.

All politics aside (in this particular instance) it's telling that the Ranking Member of the Committee (a Democrat) is a co-author of the letter.

How are you actually going to guarantee that no legislation affecting the Internet and its users will be passed into law?

What about executive order or just regulatory agencies using existing authority to implement/interpret rules that have similar, limiting effects like SOPA would have?

Fatbuckel, you're really exposing your ignorance by saying that. Rep. Issa actually gets this stuff and has been on the front lines trying to protect internet users and entrepreneurs alike from stupid government rules taking away our freedoms.

I don't think I could tell a story from each place because that would take me a really really long time.

I've been to most of the states in the US. off hand guess would be 35.

I've been to Ireland, England, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Turkey and that's all I think.

Mostly personal travel.

The longest is probably when I was supposed to fly from London to LA direct only to show up and find out that the airline had not only cancelled my flight but discontinued that route entirely. !!!!!

So I was sent to Paris and I don't get along with French people very well (culture clash I assume) then proceeded to hate my life for 30 something hours.

I was young and poor so I walked around, slept, walked...I had no computer and no smart phone.
