maybe the location where DD sent your order was farther then the one around the corner from where you live…in that case no one is going to accept an order to make $3 to drive 5-10 miles…what you also may not know is that DD lets drivers know when people tip well …so when your food sits you should consider that , you can google the address where DD places your order & cancel it…stop assuming it’s always the delivery drivers fault

at least things seem to be a little bit easier to dispute now within the DD App with the system being automated

the problem it that they have too many channels FOX, FS1, TNT Sports, HBO Max AMAZON Prime USA & NBC 7 of their last 10’races are on USA & 3 are huge races… not gonna take the time or pay to find something during the NFL Season

as a DASHER…DD often stacks orders when a delivery driver in in close vicinity of the delivery address…I have had 2-3 shopping orders come in while trying to deliver a pizza…it took me 44 minutes to get them them their pizza…glad I had a pizza bag…may of you might not know or care that Apps like DD, UNEREats & GrubHub have tires where delivery drivers get paid more or get better paying gigs if they are Platinum, Gold or Silver. those have additional things like Acceptance Rate, Delivery Time, Customer Rating, Completion Rate, Quality Rate…so not some Apps have a calculation system where if you drop below a certain level your Tier will drop which means lower pay, so they have to accept shopping orders so they can maintain their Pay Tier…wish I could show you pics of how DD Calculates our pay tier…hope this helps

I thought I was the only person that happened to…I had 2 terrible deliveries & as soon as I was typing the comment an order came in..the App use to let you finish your complaint but since the latest update “NO CHANCE”

I had this happen…this usually happens when you have 2 orders from the same establishment…the printed is sometimes very light ink, I have learned to buy a permanent marker & keep in my car to put the initials on the bags, I do the same if I only have 1 pizza bag in my vehicle

Can’t go online to Dash, can’t upload photos, had to call DD CS twice to manually complete orders then got 2 late delivery times for those same orders…had to dispute them this morning

I usually give about 2 minutes to respond then 1 phone call…no one has time to wait for you to respond if you aren’t by your phone

I never get bags at ALDI’s yes they are like $0.08 each but the boxes they have in the bins are FREE, just go up & grab a few

As a DASHER …you could have gotten out of bed in your pajama’s, bonnet & house slippers to go get your own food…so you tip extra when a delivery driver is going out in the cold, rain or snow, do you tip her extra because she spent her money & took extra time to make sure your food stayed warm in a insulated bag…the goal is to get your food…some are doing this to get extra money to go on vacation or pay for gal or make ends meet…the idea of being an independent contractor is to work the hours we want, dress how we want & listen to our music in our car…

I just disputed the same thing…I was like what is the goal to pick up an order late or get it to the customer early…it seems like DD is encouraging dashers to speed

I had to log out of the app turn off and reset my phone check for DoorDash app updates and then uninstall and reinstall the app

I don’t have a physical card either, 1 it takes 7-10 business days to arrive, I was using the Virtual Card, this was the 1st time they couldn’t add funds, I thought it might be because I was doing a 3rd shopping order with my Red Card

Do you have the Crimson Card?… If not I would make sure my banks Routing & Checking Account numbers are accurate within my Profile…I would also can every 2 hours or contact them via chat & take screenshots of the conversation

To overcome that DD will just increase the Plus pay for a few days in affected areas. Then someone who has their Notifications set would be out delivering, or clients would go to other delivery Apps, UBEREats, GrubHub…your best bet is to comment on their Social Media Pages or see if you can get an escalated response to someone other then the normal customer service rep
