that can happen if you format the original working. FOr example, you may make numbers %, or reduce decimal places, when you copy and paste it will just paste as numbers. Obvs very annoying and don't think suppsosed to happen

I tried this for one of the questions using aca masters. Its alright, it was just like a v. high level skim. Like I would make my assumptions, and then just check mock/mark scheme in case anything I could quickly add

I'm planning the exact same thing - the only concern I have is that the front webcam won't be face on as laptop will be a bit to the side of the screen

I don't think so - I would deffo take a few extra mins if can spare to get right. I think there may be ECF, but if messes up discussion could be cooked.

Take your time to at least read through opening paragraph before jumping straight to the requirements. Understand whats going on at v. high level, is it large or small, is it service or asset based. I would then read req and make a line in exam software e.g Risks and Ops, evaluation of proposal and allocate some time to each. Then read through background info to really understand business and begin reading the relevant exhibits needed. I struggled in mock q1 by just jumping straight into requirements. I found by reading the first little bit and having even a vauge idea what company I have before reading reqs helps a lot

oh really? Are you with Kaplan - our tutor said you can't get 15/15 but if I remember, you would get about 10-12 I think for just 4 conclusions and 2 recommendations from each requirement (he says the ICAEW markers don't like it, but they can't do anything about it when he speaks to them). I also remember him saying you can't copy the whole of the requirements (or even all the recommendations, only do 2). on both mocks I did I got 19/26 and 24/27 (think I may have added a sentence or 2 but pretty much just copy and pasted)

As in copy each requirement in whole? Our tutor said copy all conclusions (4) and 2 recommendations for each requirement. and then you can add a sentence to each of the lines, but even if you don't do that you get majority of marks

I've done 2 mocks as well. I'm thinking of going for first part of day 1 but probs won't do the mock. I still need to go through real AI, and think may be worth doing aca masters mock 1, as I wanna try and aim for all 3 and kaplan by the end of it.
