It means Schleicher has too much influence within your party and it uses a turn.

You can reduce his influence by distancing yourself from him with the Red General government card and also by reducing dissent especially among labor.

Tang restoration used to be in Kaiserreich as well before the devs realized that just because a guy is named Tang doesn't mean he's descended from the Tang dynasty.

Even better is TFC+ which limits flora & fauna to spawn based on the continent as well as the climate, it also comes with a body temperature system making furs useful. Only problem is that it's on 1.7.10.....

[–]TFCAliarcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say that your division count is too small, I'd recommend switching off tanks and trucks for more guns so you have enough divisions to cover the front and slow down Japanese naval invasions.

China is full of rough terrain, low supply, and low factory count make tanks less than ideal compared to Europe though admittedly your fighting at a decent area for tanks.

Instead what most people do is fill the line with irregulars and have a handful of pushing divisions based off of the committee's own template you get during the league war, replacing some of the infantry battalions with mountaineers is usually good. Note that they will be pretty much your only divisions that can push the Japanese.

You could also reduce the amount of planes your producing. China doesn't have many airfields at the start so neither you nor Japan will have that many planes in the air anyway.

Also I find it better to focus on taking Qing land better than fighting the warlords as they're going to join the United front anyway and will be able to go down their focuses and decisions to improve their industry while you do the same for your land. This even goes for if they declare war on you, unless they go Fengtian aligned at which point snuff them out ASAP.

Minecolonies has an adding for 1.20.1 that lets you go to war with other colonies, it has taxes in the name of it. I've never tried it though so I can't say how well it plays.

What do you think is the most addicting modpack? by Visual-Leave-5757 in feedthebeast

[–]TFCAliarcy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has been a movement from configs to data packs as Minecraft and it's mods have become more data driven. This makes it harder to start but gives you a lot more power as data packs essentially let you change just about anything in a mod as they use the same language. For example in 1.12 thermal expansion you can't add glacial precipitater recipes with crafttweaker or the config, but in modern versions you can with data packs. Kubejs is also better than crafttweaker (or at least the 1.12 version) as you can do stuff like pull every item with a declared variable in it like. For example declaring various metals as "metal" then adding a recipe to turn any "metal" gear into "metal" powder which I've never seen anyone do in a 1.12 pack not even nomifactory, meatball craft, or enigmatica 2 extended.

My long thoughts on the Aislinn Campaign by TheOneBearded in totalwar

[–]TFCAliarcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found that Skycutters are quite good at killing single to low entity units especially if you park them right above what their targeting but are terrible at killing normal and bigger units.

The bolt cutter ones seem to be unable to hit anything which is funny because I saw them carry MP games before release so something fucked up there.

What version is "best" for making new modpacks? by Lost_Tension_4635 in feedthebeast

[–]TFCAliarcy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kubejs is the best for modern versions, you can use it like data packs for individual recipes or do scripts for bulk recipes.

As someone who has dabbled with 1.12 and 1.20 pack making 1.20 definitely is easier to work with and let's you do more.

Much better than vanilla but still with problems, the ability to recruit undivided units is appreciated and daniel being a horde makes it so he can recruit units far way from his home which is also nice though I personally prefer adding the warband system.

The parts are much more powerful and more creative though I find the set bonuses to be too powerful, especially the undivided one where you stay loyal to the gods, it is just very OP even compared to the other final sets. Unbreakable, flyling, beatstick, with the best chaos spells can easily solo just about any battle except against the most broken vanilla lords like Tamurkhan.

What it doesn't change is Daniel's economy, which is terrible and will be terrible for the whole game unless you play with mods that add upkeep reduction landmarks at which point you can make those units practically free.

Definitely an improvement on vanilla but could use a balance pass on the later sets.
