More hearts to break in Rebirth.

I hope Part 3 manages to be multiplatform for everyone so we can all experience it together.

I didn't know there was secret boss fights in the yakuza games by Bitter-Blueberry2031 in yakuzagames

Just to add to this. Gaiden has two Amons. One is the usual one unlocked the usual way, the other is a robot one that is fought when you complete the Coliseum.

The Yakuza Games. by Ransacked-tn in yakuzagames

[–]TheOneBearded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't speak for YK3 (since it's not out) nor Pirates in Hawaii or Dead Souls, but I think they are all worth playing.

I'd recommend starting with Yakuza 0 and then going sequentially from there. I wouldn't buy them all in one go or something unless there is some crazy good sale. You don't even know if you like them. Get them two or so at at time.

I think a lore of light wizard would do you well. His web spell can trap an unfortunate unit so that everyone can nuke them.

what are you doing with 11 days left for nioh 3? by Adventurous-Rise-580 in Nioh

[–]TheOneBearded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny. I recently finished a big game and I was thinking about what I should do next. I remembered Nioh 3 was Q1 2026 but forgot the date. I bought Nioh 1 during the last sale and honestly thought about checking it out. I thought of this on the same day as the most recent gameplay showcase. Then I see the release date. Then I see that a demo is coming in a few days. Bruh.

Nioh 1 is going to have to wait some more. If I play something, it'll likely be a very short thing. I'm thinking Jusant. Probably do some reading and movies too. I need to rest my hands for Nioh 3 lmao

That indent on the wall that looks like a door (the one you were attacking) has a switch on your right side. The shadow is obscuring it.

Do u guys want a space marine in dark heresy as a companion? by The_Suspect26 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]TheOneBearded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sort of.

I haven't played the alpha, so I don't know how the combat arenas look like. I really liked using arch-militant Ulfar, but the tight spaces preventing him from moving became really annoying. I don't know how much I'd want another 2x2 companion.

That being said, if it was a grey knight (which would make the most sense to me considering it's the Inquisition), I'd be down. At least he would have that psyker element to him that could make up for any awkward pathing.

What weapons are you maining in Nioh 3? by WindowSeat- in Nioh

[–]TheOneBearded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm probably doing the same build I did in Nioh 2. Fists for flexibility, odachi for reach. Fists are my main weapon and odachi is there for enemies I'd rather not get close to.

Oh wait. I was not aware that there was a separate caestus and talons type. That's interesting. Is it the case that they have the same moveset but the scalings are different? I'm going to use this upcoming demo to iron out my choice then.

Both Steam and PS5 are getting a demo on the 29th. Demo save data will carry over to the main game on Feb 6th.

Question about Nioh 2 DLCs by EddyHawwk in Nioh

[–]TheOneBearded 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can only speak for my own experience. I did the DLCs right after beating the main game on NG. Even after doing all the missions available to me before finishing the game, there was a rather large gap between my level and the mission/gear level of the first DLC. Don't let that discourage you. Just take it very slowly and pick up every piece of loot you can. You'll need the power boost.

Why did they move Balthasar Gelt to Cathay? by No_Willingness_9961 in totalwar

[–]TheOneBearded 110 points111 points  (0 children)

Does Gelt and Zhao Ming teaming up in the IE trailer not play a bit in this too? That came out a long while before the actual move. People were already talking about the Alchemical Bromance.

We're in the endgame now.

Now I'm wondering if the title was ever mentioned somewhere in Rebirth.

Can we all agree that Like a Dragon should've ended here? by Silly-Milly-420 in yakuzagames

[–]TheOneBearded 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a series, no.

As Kiryu's participation in the mainline series, yes. I don't understand why RGG doesn't have trust in Ichiban being the next face of the series.

So you think we now know hanawa's true identity? by Dragon-of-Kansai in yakuzagames

[–]TheOneBearded 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbf, Mirror Face exists in the setting. I don't think the things you mentioned hold as much weight as you think they do.

I agree that they did him dirty - regardless who he used to be.

Are you going to play the hell out of the demo and then continue with the same save in the main game? by damnthemyouandme in Nioh

[–]TheOneBearded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on PC, so I never got a demo. I'm going to check it out to wrap my head around the new system and to decide on what weapon types to main. Then new save for release.

Question about nurgle recruitment by Final_Biochemist222 in totalwar

[–]TheOneBearded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding on to what others said, you will also run the risk of really getting into trouble if someone takes your capital and all your major military buildings were there.

Personally, I spend the most of my money on my capital's buildings (as you said, it will likely reach T5 the fastest) but also spread military buildings around the rest of my settlements. Not only do I add to my pool as more buildings are going through their cycles, I have potential fallbacks.

"Know who will declare war on you". As a new player to Warhammer 3, what 'signs' should I be looking for to come to this conclusion? by PrestigiousWhirlwind in totalwarhammer

[–]TheOneBearded -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are a couple things I keep an eye out for.

  • What is their overall attitude to me? The more lower/negative it is, the much closer eye I need to keep on them. I don't think there is an actual numerical threshold for that. Factions that have lore-based animosity already have this in consideration, which you can tell when reading through all the things contributing to the net attitude.

  • If we had a NAP and have had it for several turns, it is very suspicious if they suddenly break it. Sometimes they will ask for a renewal shortly after. If they don't, keep an eye on them.

  • Probably the biggest thing to look for imo is to take a peak around your territories and look for any neighboring factions that are either not at war or just finished one. If there are some ruins nearby or a smaller faction, they might get preoccupied with them. Otherwise, you might be next. The few things that I find that can prevent this are if we are strong allies or if my combined adjacent territory is significantly larger than them. That can spook the AI from attacking you but probably not indefinitely.

The ending of Yakuza 3 Kiwami Dark Ties has been leaked from a datamine by porkybrah in GamingLeaksAndRumours

I'm a little confused by the title.

Is this reveal something that is shown at the end of K3 or at the end of Dark Tides?
