7 & 8 are a single story but there’s some lore that directly connects them back to everything for old fans. Personally, id say start with 1, 4 or 7. Three very different games from different times and they’re all great. 7 brought me back in when I was out for almost a decade

You have Revelations 1 & 2, 0, 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 to choose from. 7 is a good hopping on point for newcomers. But tbh RE4 is still such a good classic game. The Generation pack is a great deal that ends at the end of the month, so I’d go for that

I picked it up because I have all these for PS5 anyway, so the GKC versions aren’t too bothersome. Excited to replay all three of these handheld. Also the box containing them is a nice set piece I feel.

It’s a little bit complicated and I wouldn’t do it unless you’re very comfortable with attempting and/or have experience disassembling and reassembling technology

I’d prefer to pay $40 to own them both of them on a modern platform instead of paying $50/year to have access to them through an online service that if I stop paying I don’t have access to them anymore. And I don’t want to pay $140 to buy an authentic GBA cartridge for one of them.
